Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur offers degrees in M.Tech, Integrated B.Tech – M.Tech, M.Sc, B.Arch, MBA, and MURP.  IIEST offers M.Sc and MBA in five and four specializations respectively. Duration of both M.Sc and MBA courses is 2 years.

In order to take admission in MBA program offered by the Institute, students need to appear in MAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT. Further, students also need to clear the Group discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the Institution itself.

Students who wish to take admission in any of the M.Sc courses offered by the Institute can either get admission through CCMN, the centralized counseling procedure to admit M.Sc students in NITs or CFTIs. JAM qualification becomes mandatory in this case. Or, they can go through the direct admission procedure conducted by IIEST itself. The admissions in this procedure are done on the basis of merit and call for a written exam followed by a counseling procedure. JAM qualification isn’t mandatory in this case. Check IIEST Admission
