Department of Physiotherapy, D.Y. Patil University is recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and Maharashtra State Council for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
The University offers BPT, MPT and B.Sc. Exercise courses at the School of Physiotherapy. The Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4 and a half years course including 6 months Rotatory Internship. It has an intake capacity of 60 seats. The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a two year post-graduate course with an intake capacity of 36 seats, and the Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) is for a duration of 3 years (6 semesters) including 2 months of rotatory Internship with an intake capacity of 30 seats. The University invites applications for admission to the BPT, MPT and B.Sc. (Exercise Science) programmes. The admission for BPT and MPT are conducted through the All India Tests AIPTET 2020 and AIGPET 2020 respectively. The application process for both the courses is available online and must be completed by May 19th, 2020. The admission to B.Sc. (Exercise Science) is based on merit. The application process for this must be completed by June 30th, 2020.

You should obtain the AIPTET 2020 Application form and AIGPET 2020 online by visiting University website under section “All India Entrance Test 2020”
You should fill the form with the required personal and educational details. You must type in capital letters only and select the appropriate box.
You must then upload a scanned photograph in JPEG format sizing 150 x 150 pixels.
Under the Dr. D.Y. Patil Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships, you should check whether you qualify the basic condition for award of the scholarship, and then tick mark appropriately against Yes/ No and also in the box covering the categories A/B as the case may be.
Application Fee: You should pay Rs.1000 by Demand Draft drawn in favour of D.Y. Patil University, payable at Navi Mumbai. You should write your full name, address and application number and transaction ID on the reverse side of the demand draft and on the envelope.

You should have passed H.S.C. (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a Recognized Board with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
If you have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent Examination and your results will be declared before the dates of Counselling, you will also be eligible.
Nationality: You should be an Indian national.
Age: You must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31st.
The reservation policy will be as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Also, 15% seats for the course are reserved for Foreign National / PIO / NRI category.
MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) Programme
50% seats for the course are reserved for Foreign National / PIO / NRI category with a different fee structure.
B.Sc. (Exercise Science) Programme
The reservation policy will be as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
You will be selected on the basis of the All India Physiotherapy Entrance Test (AIPTET) 2020. The AIPTET will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper at the Entrance Test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking. You can also find details regarding model question paper, specimen answer sheet in the prospectus.
You must be able to secure the minimum 50% marks at AIPTET 2020.
Exemptions: You will be exempted from appearing for the All India Entrance Test if you belong to the Foreign National / PIO / NRI category.
