Bharati Vidyapeeth University(BVDU) is a deemed to be university situated primarily in Pune with campuses also in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur and Karad. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 32 constituent units and is one of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University is a member of Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is really credible for this nascent University to have received ‘A’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Some of the constituent units of the University have also been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Board of Accreditation. Hence the degrees given in these colleges of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University are recognized in India and abroad.

The University invites Applications for admission to the Medical Undergraduate courses including MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine and Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) Programme. MBBS and BDS aspirants must appear for NEET to be eligible for admission at BVP.

The basic eligibility criteria for NEET is as follows: 

  • The minimum age required for admission is 17 years.
  • The upper age limit is 25 years.
  • A candidate whose qualifying exam result is awaited, may apply for NEET but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS if he/she does not clear the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category must score a minimum of 40% in their 10+2 qualifying exams.
  • The candidate must have studied PCB along with English and any other elective subject in 10+2 or 11+1 study pattern.

Indian Citizens/Overseas Citizens of India intending to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET (UG).

Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.

To secure admission in BVP, the candidates must appear and pass the NEET exam.

Admission Process

Admission will be based on the marks scored by the candidate in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST
Followed by the counselling process conducted by the university.

The candidates must bring the following necessary documents at the time of counselling.

  • Print out of the Application Form
  • Copy of NEET UG Admit Card
  • Aadhar Card Xerox
  • Class Xth board examination Mark sheet / Passing Certificate
  • Class XIIth board examination Mark sheet / Passing Certificate
  • Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate 
  • Medical fitness certificate.
  • Proof of Nationality of India: Nationality/Domicile/Passport
  • Migration Certificate 
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Conduct & Character Certificate
  • Recent passport–size photographs

The candidates must pay the full admission fees via Demand Draft at the university.

How To Apply

To apply for admission at BVP, the candidate must first appear for the NEET exam.
Admission to BVP Medical college will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in the NEET exam.

After the declaration of the NEET results, the candidate must apply for admission at the university.

  • One can acquire the form from the university’s official website.
  • The candidate must register by following the instructions provided on the portal.
  • The form must be filled with the utmost care.
  • The candidate must upload a passport size photograph along with their signature.
  • Mention the academic qualifications.
  • Followed by the NEET score.
  • The candidate must verify all the details.
  • Submit the form.
  • Pay the fees of INR. 500/- through Debit/Credit card.


15% percent in seats each college and each course are reserved for Foreign/ NRI (Non-Resident Indian) / P.I.O. / O.C.I. / Management Merit Category students.
