SMPVV University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in different specializations. School of Engineering and Technology, SPMVV invites applications for admission to B.Tech Programme in various specializations for the academic year. The entire Application process is online. It will be done on the basis of AP EAMCET.

How To Apply

The Application has to be submitted through online mode only.

  1. Candidate should visit the website of AP EAMCET to fill in the Application Form.
  2. Fill the Application form with the required personal and educational details.
  3. Application Fee: This is the first step of the Registration Process. One should pay Rs.350 as Registration Fee and late fee (if applicable) by opting any of the following two modes of payment: AP ONLINE or Debit / Credit Card
  4. Verify all the details carefully and then press the “Submit” button.
  5. Subsequently, the filled in Online Application Form will be generated which contains Registration Number along with the filled in details.
  6. Candidate should then take a printout of Filled in Online Application Form. One must have to submit this to the Invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent colour passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College.
  7. Candidate should save and use the Registration Number for future correspondence.


The eligibilities are given below. Candidate should fulfill any of the following conditions:

  • 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as optional subjects or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
  • Along with the bridge course or courses conducted by it if you had enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.


  • Candidate should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Age: Applicant should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

Nationality: You should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.


Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favour of the local areas: Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Reservation for SC/ST/BC/PHC and other categories shall be followed as per the rules prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Admission Process

You will be selected on the basis of AP EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test)

The paper consists of a total of 160 questions in MCQ format. It is for a duration of 3 hours. It involves 80 questions on Mathematics, 40 questions each in Physics and Chemistry. Candidates are required to answer all questions. Each correct answer is awarded with one mark and there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer. The syllabus will be based on the 10+2 qualifying examination syllabus. The detailed syllabus is given on the EAMCET website.

The medium for the exam will be English and Telugu. However, if you have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu medium and wish to avail assistance for translating the questions into Urdu, it will be allotted a Test Centre at Kurnool only.

You should be able to secure a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking to qualify the AP EAMCET. However, you will not require any minimum qualifying marks if you belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category.
