Centurion University B.Tech. And M.Tech. Admissions 2019: Courses, Placement, Fees

Centurion University of Technology and Management, established in 2010, is a multi-sector, private state university from Odisha. It was  CUTM  has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade and it offers undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral courses in the fields of engineering & technology, management and applied sciences. The University invites applications for admission to the B.Tech. The programme, B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) and M.Tech. Programme for the academic year. The admission to the programmes will begin in the 1st week of December, and for B.Tech, will be based on the Centurion University Entrance Exam (CUEE) and for M.Tech, based on GATE. The Applications for admission should be submitted by March 31steither online or by post.

Eligibility Criteria:

You should have passed 10+2 examination or appearing 10+2 examination in 2019. You should have studied in regular full time formal education and fulfil any of the following criteria:

  1. You should have secured a minimum average of 45% marks in case of general category and 40% marks in case of reserved category, in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry or (any other subject from the list specified by AICTE) taken together in the qualifying examination.
  2. You should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in case of general category and 40% marks in case of reserved category, with the following subjects: Language, Physics, Mathematics, Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), any other subject taken together in the qualifying examination.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)

Eligibility Criteria:-

You should fulfil any of the following eligibility criteria:

  • You should have passed or should be appearing in three years fulltime diploma course in Engineering with at least 50% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education & Training of any state/Universities having AICTE approval.
  • You should have passed in three years duration Bachelor's Degree in Science examination from any University of India or equivalent recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics at +3 levels.

Eligibility Criteria:-

You should fulfil any of the following criteria of eligibility:

  • You should have passed B.E. / B. Tech. or equivalent in relevant discipline with 60% marks in aggregate, or 6.5 CGPA out of a 10 point scale.
  • You should have passed the AMIE/IETE/IMECH and other recognized Membership Examinations (approved by Government of India).

Note: There is no relaxation in academic requirement for SC/ST/OBC/PH category, because the minimum academic requirements have been set for all to meet the basic challenges of the academic programme.

How To Apply

BE/B.Tech & ME/M.Tech

You can fill the Application Form in the following three modes:

  1. Online through the CUEE website
  2. Downloading from the CUEE website
  3. In Person from the CUTM Campus

Online Mode:-

You should visit the University website and follow the instructions giving there to fill up the online application form.

Step 1: You should fill up the application from with the required personal and educational details, and proceed to payment. You should also upload a recent colour photograph.

Step 2: You should select the payment method from either Demand Draft or Online payment (Debit/Credit Card of any bank is accepted).

Step 3: If you select the Demand Draft payment method, your application process will be completed. If you select online payment, it will redirect to the Merchant gateway. You need to fill up your card information and pay for the same and ensure the amount displayed is Rs. 250/-. The payment gateway will authorize and capture the payment and redirect to the University website for confirmation of the Application process is complete.

Step 4: You should then download your Application Copy and take the print out of the application form.

In case of online payment, your Application process is now complete.

In case you are paying by Demand Draft, it should be in favour of CSREM Trust payable at Bhubaneswar.

In case of other two modes as well, you must then submit the hard copy of your Application along with the Demand Draft and the required enclosures at the address given below.

Admission Process


For B.Tech. Programme:-

You must have appeared in any of the following Entrance Tests CUEE /JEEMAIN /EAMCET / WBJEE / Other equivalent Entrance Test.

Centurion University Entrance Examination (CUEE) 2019:

The exam will be for a duration of 3 hours. It will contain 180 objective type of questions. The questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with each subject having 60 questions. Each correct answer will carry one mark. The exam will be conducted in online mode. The medium of the Exam will be English.

For B.Tech. (Lateral Entry):-

You must have appeared any nationalised entrance tests: CUEE/JEEMAIN/EAMCET/WBJEE/Other equivalent Entrance Test.


You will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the GATE Entrance Examination.


  • 50% of seats shall be filled through Centurion University Entrance Exam (CUEE)
  • 50% Reservation of seats for JEEMAIN/EAMCET and other state test rank holders
  • 25 seats shall be reserved for the wards of the CRPF personnel
  • 25 seats shall be reserved for the wards of the Indian Navy personnel
  • Reservation of seats for FN/PIO/Children of Indian Workers in gulf Countries as per the AICTE norms.
  • All statutory reservation of seats for SC/ST and other categories will be as per the applicable rules.
