Bundelkhand University MBA and MCA Admission 2019: Courses, Dates, Result

Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh   is a public University established in 1975, by Government of India. It is recognized by UGC, AICTE, AIU, NAAC, IAU, ACU, BCI and MCI. The university has an enormous campus flourishing over about 186 acres of land with 303 affiliated colleges. The University offers a range of quality education in professional and academic courses via arts, science, technology, law, commerce, computing, management etc. Bundelkhand University offers admission to following academic/ professional programmes:

  • MBA (Master of Bussiness Administration)
  • MCA (Master of Computer Application)

 Candidates with the relevant qualification can register for the above mentioned programmes. The university provides reservation of seats/ relaxation of marks for SC/ST/OBC etc. as per the rules of the Government and norms of the university. Check Bundelkhand University Admission 2019

Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online application form and submitting the required processing fee. Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of merit of the candidate in Entrance Test-UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU

Candidate should have passed graduation degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination.However,candidates belonging to the reserve category candidates i.e. SC/ ST/ PH are provided with the relaxation of 5% of marks( i.e. they should have obtained minimum 45% marks).


  • candidate should have qualified  B.Sc.(Maths/Stats)/BCA/ B.Sc.IT /B.Sc.(CS)/B.Sc.(IT) with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination.However,candidates belonging to the reserve category candidates i.e. SC/ ST/ PH are provided with the relaxation of 5% of marks( i.e. they should have obtained minimum 45% marks)
  • candidate shall have studied and passed Maths at 10+2 level.

How To Apply


The candidates can apply for admissions by filling and submitting the complete online application form along with the required amount of processing fee and important document. Candidate must logon to the and follow the following steps:

  • Candidate must check and must ensure  their eligibility and other conditions like possession of an active and valid personal e-mail ID and a mobile number before applying for admission
  • After ensuring the eligibility criteria candidate must start the registration process by filling up of Personal and other Details through the link “UP State Entrance Examination for PG (UPSEE)”.
  • After filling these details, you are required to choose “Password” and security question.
  • After filling up the application form review & submit the form .Edit the application form if required by clicking on the “EDIT” tab.
  • When  the application is complete click on the  “FINAL SUBMIT” Button

Note: read the declaration given at the bottom and accept the declaration by ticking the check box named “I agree” before the final submission.

  • Application Number is generated by the system. Candidate is required to note this APPLICATION NUMBER for all future correspondences and in order to be able to Login again.
  • Now the candidates are required to upload the scanned (digital) image of Recent Coloured Photograph (maximum 100KB in JPG format only- 3.5cm X 4.5cm )  ,Signature of the candidate  and Thumb impression (Left ) (maximum 30KB JPG format only
    - 3.5cm X 1.5cm)
  • When the uploading process of documents is done, candidate can review the images (and make proper changes-if required) and click on the “SAVE” button .After clicking on the “SAVE” button, no changes can be made to the application form.
  • The  candidate is now required to pay the application fee  via ONLINE ( Debit Card/Credit Card /Net banking)
  • After making payment, a payment Transaction Number is generated which is to be noted for future correspondences.
  • A link appears on the screen/page named “Download Confirmation Page” will be generated only after successfully deposition of the fee. The confirmation page should be downloaded and kept for future use.
  • Candidate must keep the Xerox of application form and download the admit card by logging into their account and keep a copy of the same for future reference.


  • Examination fee for Male/ Transgender candidates of General/OBC Category : Rest 1000.00 (Rs. one  thousand only)
  • Examination fee for SC/ST candidates and female candidates / physically handicapped candidates of all categories: Rs 500.00 (Rs. Five hundred only)
  • The candidates have to bring admit card and identity proof at the  entrance examination centre

Admission Process


Candidates are selected for above mentioned courses on the basis of merit of the candidate in Entrance Test-UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU. The admissions will be offered to the students in the order of merit as per the results of entrance examination and the reservation policy of the government.

The entrance test shall be based on English Language, Numerical Aptitude, Thinking and Decision Making, General Awareness for MBA programme. However, for MCA entrance test shall be based on the subjects of Mathematics, Statistics and Logical ability.


The candidates who are selected in the entrance examination are required to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates are directed to bring the photocopies of the following documents along with originals for the purpose of verification at the time of counselling:

  • Mark Sheet/Grade Sheet of the qualifying degree course. 
  • Character Certificate from the Dean/Head/Principal of the University/Institution last attended. 
  • Migration Certificate from the competent authority of the University/Institution last attended
  • Reserved category Certificate issued by competent authority, and 
  • Other relevant documents

Applicants from any part of the country or from abroad are eligible for admission .However, the reservation of the seats is for the categories of UP only. The reservation of different categories is divided into two categories: vertical and horizontal reservation (category), which is below given in the tabular form:

The university has several provisions to provide scholarships to the candidates who are undergoing various courses offered by the university. The university offers the following scholarships:

  • Scholarships for SC/ST and BPL  candidates
  • Scholarships given by the state government GOI
  • Merit scholarships


The university provides hostel facility to the deserving candidates. Hostel facility is available separately for males and females. The university provides mess, accommodation and various other recreational facilities to the candidates in the following hostel blocks of the university.

  • Lord Buddha PG  Boys Hostel with an accommodation of 150 candidates
  • PG women’s   Hostel with an accommodation of 150 candidates
  • Jhalkari Bay Girls Hostel with an accommodation of 150 candidates

Desirous and eligible candidates can apply for hostel facility, however separate charges are to be paid for the same.
