Indian Law Institute is a deemed university which was established in 1956 primarily with the objective of promoting and conducting legal research. The Institute is an autonomous body registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and subscribes to 270 current legal periodicals. In 2005, the university enrolled its first batch of L.L.M and Ph.D. program.
Candidates can get admission to the above mentioned post graduate courses through CET i.e. “Common Entrance Test”, conducted by the university. Candidates can register themselves to the LL.M programme by submitting applications online along with the enrolment fee of Rs. 2000/- through online/offline payment modes.

Candidate must possess LL.B degree from this university or any other recognized university by bar council of India with at least 50% marks (OR) Candidate must possess law degree from a foreign country with at least 50% aggregate marks or grades.
Candidate appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible but candidate must possess minimum prescribed qualification at the time of admission.
Candidates will be provisionally admitted if their qualifying examination result will not be declared at the time of admission.

Upon clicking on “Click Here For New Registration”, candidate should select programme and course
Then, the candidate will be asked to enter their personal details and qualification details. Upon completing it, he/she will receive SMS and e-mail containing the application ID and password.
Upon completely filling-in the application form with all the relevant details, candidate will be required to upload his/her scanned photograph and signature along with the supporting documents.
Upon submitting all the necessary details, candidate will be entitled to make payment of Rs. 2000/- through online or offline payment modes

Selection of the candidates to the LL.M course is done on the basis of their performance in CET i.e. “Common Entrance Test”, conducted by the university.
