Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a private university located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The institute was established in 1981.  It has been awarded "Five Star" rating and "A" grade by the NAAC and UGC respectively. NMIMS has also been awarded an "A***" rating by CRISIL. The institute was granted "Deemed University" status by the UGC in 2003 and can hence award full academic degrees to its students. It has more than 12000 students and 450 full time faculty members are part of India's most sought after academic community i.e. NMIMS.

School of Law, NMIMS is the first “School of Law” in State Maharashtra to have Bar Council of India’s approval for the 5 years integrated Double Degree Honour’s Programme, i.e., B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), since 2013-14. It is also the first “School of Law” (SOL) in India that shall provide (Hons.) Specialization in Corporate Laws, Intellectual Property Laws and Taxation Laws. It follows the Trimester based terms.

The University invites applications for admission to the Integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB Programmes for the academic year. The seats available for both the programmes is 60 each. For both the courses:

  • You must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including International Bachelor’s Diploma (IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at the first attempt and obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • If you are from an International School, you will have to submit AIU certificate of equivalence to confirm your eligibility for the program as equivalence to (10+2) examination/s.
  • In case you have obtained 10+2 or equivalent through institutes recognized by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), you are eligible for admission.
  • But if you have obtained 10+2 through Open University system directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission.

Age: You should be less than 25 years of age.

How To Apply

For Registration to CLAT

Step 1: You should register yourself on the CLAT official website.

Step 2: You must then fill your personal, academics and other details as mentioned in the form.

Step 3: You are required to upload your recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) and signature of JPG format within 100kb of size.

Step 4: CLAT Application fees Applicants are required to make the payment of application form fees of Rs. 4000 for General Category and Rs. 3500 for Reserved Category online through Debit/ Credit Card.

Step 5: You should then finally “Submit” your Application Form online only. This completes your registration process.

For Admission to NMIMS

  • You should register yourself online on website.
  • You should then fill in the required personal and education details as required.
  • You do not have to complete the online form in one sitting. You can complete it in multiple sittings, the convenient “auto-save” option keeps your work saved regularly.
  • Once you have completed the form, you should click on the “Submit” button. You will then be directed to the payment gateway.

Application Fee: You should pay registration fee of Rs. 1200 (non-refundable) by Credit Card or Debit Card.

After paying the fee, your Application process is complete.

Admission Process

  • You will be selected on the basis of CLAT (Common Law Entrance Test).
  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of CLAT score, who have obtained 105 score and above, and the program preferences for the course given by you at the time of online registration.


The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India.
