South Asian University (SAU) is an International University sponsored by the eight Member (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) States of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
SAU started its first academic session in 2010, at a temporary campus at Akbar Bhawan, India. The degrees of the university are recognized by all the member nations of the SAARC. Currently the University offers admission to various Master's programs: Check SAU Admission

Candidates with the relevant qualification can register for PG programmes. Seats are reserved for people belonging to India and other SAARC and Non-SAARC candidates as per SAU rules.
Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the application form and submitting the required processing fee. Admission to all the PG courses will be done on the basis of entrance examination.
Candidates can apply online through the official university website by following the given steps:
Candidate should register him/her online by providing the required information.
The system will send two separate emails containing candidates User ID and Password on the registered email ID
Candidate should log in to the website with the provided User ID and Password
Complete the application form by filling in the correct and required information
Candidate should submit the application fee of US$ 10 or INR 650/- through credit / debit card / internet banking of any bank
Candidate can also pay the application fee via bank draft for US$ 10 or INR 650/- drawn in favour of “South Asian University” payable at New Delhi to the Deputy Registrar Admissions, South Asian University, Akbar Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi 110021, India.
The bank draft must have the name of the candidate, application number and the programme applied for at the back of the bank draft.
After submission of application form, the candidate can download the Admit Card for required courses. Candidate must keep a copy of the Admit Card /application form for future reference
Candidate should have completed 12 years of schooling from a valid board/institute recognized by the government of any of the SAARC countries
Candidate must possess 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree (with Mathematics as a subject for at least two years) from an institution recognized by the government of any of the SAARC countries.
50% seats are reserved for Indian applicants in all the PG programmes
4% seats are reserved for applicants from each of the following five countries: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka
10% seats are reserved for applicants from each of the following countries: Pakistan and Bangladesh
10% seats may be allotted to applicants from outside the SAARC region.
Candidates are selected on the basis of merit in the entrance examination conducted by SAU throughout the region of SAARC.

SAU provides hostel accommodation to the candidates residing outside the National Capital Region of Delhi (NCR). Hostel Fee (US $ 60 per semester) and mess charges (US$ 50 to 75 per month) shall have to pay separately.
