Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalayais a UGC certified university in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The university’s department of Education provides two UG Programmes i.e. (B.P.Ed and B.Ed) in which candidates across the country can apply. The university takes 40 students in B.P.Ed. program and 100 students in B.Ed. There are only self financing seats in the department of education.
Candidates who want to apply for the B.P.Ed. and B.Ed. courses, should clear the Qualifying Degree Merit Examination. With this eligibility, both courses have some specific eligibility criteria, candidate must check before applying to the concerned program.
Application will be an online process and interested candidates can get application forms from the university website on payment of the application form. SC/ST/OBC, physically handicapped and women candidates seats will be reserved as per the MP Government/ University rules.
The duration of B.P.Ed. program in RDVV is 3 Years.
Candidates should have passed graduation from this or any other recognized university with minimum 40% marks as per NCTE norms.
Students must clear the physical fitness test and written examination.
Candidate’s age should be less than 25 years of age at the time of admission.
Students looking for admission must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board as per NCTE norms.
General/OBC category candidates must have scored 50% marks in 10+2.
5% relaxation in marks scored in 10+2 is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.

Online submission of application form through merit mode is Rs. 330/-.
If information filled by candidate is incomplete or incorrect then the application form filled by candidate will be rejected.

Candidates must select the services and fill the admission form of merit mode.
Photocopies of the enclosures along with this admission form should be submitted in the department for verification before the submission of last date of application.
After that candidate should fill the application form and upload it.

In 1989-90 university established its first computer centre with 10 PCs under DOS.
The university infrastructure is well furnished with all the modern facilities.
All Labs present in the university are well equipped with latest equipments.
Guest House, The university guest house is partitioned into one general room and 4 VIP rooms.
In 1956, University health centre was also started which has a separate rooms, chambers and yards.
B.Ed & B.P.Ed
Candidates must be selected on the basis of merit of AAPHER physical fitness test and written examination.
AAPHER is abbreviated for “American Association for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation”, AAPHER is a manual youth fitness test which is designed to measure physical fitness for boys and girls in grades 5-12. Tests can be given in the outdoors and gymnasium.
Candidate’s selection is done on the basis of rank in the merit of Qualifying Degree Examination.
