(RDVV) is a government university, located in Jabalpur and is also known as the University of Jabalpur. The university is named after queen Durgavati. RDVV has the vision to create a better society and maintains values of humanity. An admission notification has been published by the University in various Post Graduation programmes. Candidates applying for the admission in the Post Graduation course should clear the Qualifying Degree Merit Examination conducted by University. Candidate must check their eligibility and reservation criteria before applying to the concerned programmes. The university offers post-graduation in M.Sc.., LL.M., MA, M.P.Ed.
Reservation of seats for the candidates that belong to SC/ST/OBC, physically handicapped and women category will be as per the MP Government/ University rules.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Botany)
Students looking for admission should have graduation degree in B.Sc. (Honours) or B.Sc. from recognised University with 50% marks. Marks secured by the SC/ST/OBC category candidates will be as per the government norms. Students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics in Science Stream are also eligible to apply.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biochemistry)
Candidates should pass B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry from the recognised board with aggregate 50% marks. Those students are also eligible who have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in B.Sc. (Honours). Candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level from recognised board. Students applying for admission should pass Physics and Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Microbiology)
Candidates must have passed graduation in B.Sc. with Life Sciences/Microbiology as subjects from the recognised university with 50% marks. Students who have studied B.Sc. with at least one subject of Biological sciences or BAMS or MBBS or BHMS or BPT or B.Pharm. from the recognised university are also eligible to apply. Candidates also have studied Physics, Chemistry, Zoology or Botany in Bachelor’s degree as well as HSC board examination.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Chemistry)
Candidates should possess Graduation degree in B.Sc. Chemistry from recognised University. Students belong to General Category must secure 55% marks and SC/ST candidates must obtain 50% marks in concerned subjects. Students should study Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as pass subjects.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics)
Candidates should have passed Graduation degree in B.Sc. from the recognised university with 45% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science)
Candidates looking for admission must possess Graduation degree in B.Sc. Computer Science or in BCA from the recognised university with 50% marks.
Master of Laws [L.L.M.]
The duration of Master’s of Law (LL.M) is 2 years: Students looking for admission must possess Graduation degree in LLB or BL from a recognised university with 55% marks under 10+2+5 pattern. Reserved categories i.e. SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities must have scored aggregate 50% marks to apply for admission. There is no age restriction for admission to the Master’s degree of Law. Master of Physical Education [M.P.Ed]
Candidates must have passed Graduation degree in B.P.Ed. or B.P.E or B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education and degree in Sports from a recognised university with 50% marks as per NCTE norms. 5% relaxation in marks will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
The duration of Master’s of Arts (MA) is 2 years. Specialisations offered by the university in MA are as follows:
Eligibility: Candidates looking for admissions must have done Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with 45% marks. Candidates should possess graduation degree from reputed University in any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology or Fine Arts or Architecture.
Master of Library and Information Science [M.Lib]
Students must possess B.Lib.I.Sc. Graduation degree from the recognised University with 50% marks. Candidates applying for admission must have passed Graduation in Information Science / Library Science / Information Science or equivalent from reputed university. Duration : 1 Year Notes Candidates must be an Indian citizen and their age should be around 18 to 24 years. Candidates are advised to go through the departmental information and admission rules on university website before start filling the application form. Candidates can register for any of the course by filling separate application forms. Application form can be obtained and submit online through the university website “www.rdunijbpin.nic.in” Fees of online submission of application form through merit mode is Rs. 330/-. If information filled by the candidate is incomplete or incorrect then the application form filled by the candidate will be rejected. Candidates must be selected according to the rank secured by them in the merit list of qualifying examination conducted by the university. AAPHER is the physical fitness and qualifying examination test conducted by the university. It is abbreviated for “American Association for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation”. Shortlisted candidates will be called for admission along with the required documents but if the candidate fails to come on the specific date then their admission would be delayed.
