People’s University PG Admissions 2020: Courses, Result, Fees

People’s Universitywas established in 2011 and is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. People's University has ten Constituent Institutes. The various constituent colleges of the University are approved by Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Indian Nursing Council, AICTE, Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council and Pharmacy Council of India.

People’s University has Medical/Dental Hospital which provides free Medical/Dental facilities to students and employees of University, and various other facilities in the campus itself like Bank and ATM, gymnasium, post office, etc.

The University invites Applications for admission to the post-graduate programmes. The Programmes offered are various medical programmes such as Doctor of Medicine/Master of Science Programme (MD/MS), Master of Science (M.Sc.) Programme in Nursing, and Medical and Biotechnology, Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) Programme. Check People’s University Admission 2020

Other programmes include the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Programme and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme. All the programmes are for a duration of 2 Years.

How To Apply

You can access the Application Form through either of the following three ways:

  1. By hand from the University by paying prescribed fee
  2. By post by submitting a written application along with the prescribed fee in advance
  3. Online by downloading it from the University website and taking a print out of the Form

You must fill in the personal and educational details. You must write in Capital Letters only, and mark with ‘ticks’ in the required spaces.

You should affix a recent passport size photograph in the space provided, and select the course for which you are applying.

You shall also have to fill in the medical check-up report which must be verified by a Doctor and have his seal and the Department. This provision is only applicable to a certain courses.

You should then send the duly signed Application Form along with the requisite enclosures to the respective colleges of the University.


M.Sc. Nursing Programme (2 Years)

Eligibility: You should fulfil all of the following conditions:

  • You should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • You should have passed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, from an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, with minimum of 55% aggregate marks in case of general category, and 50% marks in case of SC/ST category.
  • You must have a minimum of one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • You should be medically fit.

M.Sc. Medical and Biotechnology Programme (2 Years)


You should have passed MBBS or B.Sc. (Biology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany/ Bio-technology) from any recognized University. Preference will be given to Medical graduates.

Age (only for M.Sc. Medical and Biotechnology): You should be less than 30 years of age as on July 1st in case of male candidates. There is no age limit for female candidates.

Admission Process

Admissions shall be made in following order of preference:

  1. Merit prepared on the basis of valid GATE score.
  2. Merit prepared on the basis of test conducted by University or an Agency on its behalf.
  3. Merit prepared on the basis of CGPA or marks obtained in the qualifying examination and subject to qualifying in personal interview conducted by the University with a provision that seats shall be first filled by candidates possessing BE/B Tech/AMIE degrees before offering them to others.

Note: 20% Candidates sponsored by Educational Institutions/Industries/Organizations may also be admitted as per order of preference as mentioned above.
