Kuvempu University Distance Education Admission 2018

Kuvempu University  is a UGC affiliated institution which offers various post-graduate and doctorate programs under the departments of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Law. The University also provides education through distance learning mode for interested students, offering many programmes at undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level.

The following distance programmes are offered by the university in various disciplines:

Candidates with the relevant eligibility criteria can register themselves for admission to distance programmes. Candidates can download application form directly available at the university website and submit it with an additional amount of Rs. 150/- along with the admission fee.

Admission to all the distance education programmes (except M.B.A.) is done on direct basis without any entrance examination. Candidates applying for distance MBA programme must submit an application fee of Rs. 500/- and appear for the entrance test, to be conducted by the university.

Eligibility

B.Com , BA & B.Sc

  • Candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination or Pre University or equivalent examination
  • For admission to B.Sc. programme, candidate must have passed in Science PUC or 10+2 or equivalent science course
  • Candidates who have passed ITI/JOC vocational course at any of the recognised institutes within Karnataka are eligible for admission to B.A., B.Com., BBM and B.Sc. course.

Bachelor of Library and Information Science [B.Lib]

Candidate should be a graduate from this university or any other university recognised by UGC.

MA & M.Com

Candidate should have passed examination of B. A. or B.Sc. or B.Com., B.B.M., B.B.A. or B.Ed./ B.Tech. / B.Sc. Agri. / B.Sc. Home Sc. degree of this University or an examination of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto and passed the examination concerned

Master of Library and Information Science [M.Lib]

Candidate should possess B.L.I.Sc. or B.Lib.Sc. degree from this or any other recognised university.

LLM

Candidate should have completed LL.B./B.L. from this University or any other University recognised by UGC.

MBA/PGDM

Candidate must possess 3 year degree examination of this university or any other recognized university.


How To Apply

B.Com , BA & B.Sc

  • Candidates can apply for all the above metioned programmes by submitting application form which can be obtained through any of the available modes i.e. in person, by post or download or purchased from the approved study centres.
  • Candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus from the approved study centres by submitting the required application fees
  • Candidates can download admission form directly from the university website and submit an additional amount of Rs. 150/- along with their fees at the time of admission.
  • Candidates can also submit the processing fee through DD in favour of “Finance Officer, Kuvempu University” and payable at State Bank of Mysore
  • Photocopies of the completed applications along with the necessary enclosures must be sent to the following address:

Enclosures:

  1. Attested copy of marks card of Final year examination & passing certificate of qualifying examination along with original marks card.
  2. PUC or 10+2 or equivalent for U.G. Courses.
  3. Original marks cards of SSLC, PUC with set of photocopies.
  4. Examination Application Form and Hall Ticket form.
  5. Admission Registration Card along with stamp size photos attested by a Gazetted Officer.
  6. Six address slips provided


Admission Process

B.Com , BA & B.Sc

  • Candidate will be selected directly on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination
  • For MBA programme, candidates will be shortlisted for admission on the basis of their marks in the university entrance examination as well as performance in the qualifying examination.
