The selections are done through a Common Merit list. The Merit lists for various courses are prepared by the respective Admission Committee.
The list for MAM is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Higher Secondary Examination (Class 10+2). Separate lists are prepared for separate streams, that is, the Science stream, the Commerce stream, and the Arts stream. A separate list is also prepared for Category students. All these lists are uploaded online as per the schedule.
Further, the selected students are expected to report to the Management Department of the University with a part admission fee (INR 10,000) along with original and two set of copies of the following documents.
In the case of any vacancies, other students are admitted in the order of merit.
The same process in followed for the other Dual Degree programs, however, the Common Merit lists are prepared on the basis of AIR (All India Rank) obtained in JEE Main, rather than marks obtained in Higher Secondary Examination. Again, selected students are to report to the University along with the above-listed documents and the part Admission fee.
Before admitting the students, the documents submitted are verified. In case a student is found ineligible or is found guilty of providing wrong information, the student is then exempted from taking admission in any course of the University.
Note: A second Common Merit List is only announced when there are any vacancies left. Therefore, it is the duty of the student to check the official website of the University regularly for such notices.
