Christ University Undergraduate Admission 2020: Dates, Application form, Eligibility

Christ University in Bengaluru, India, offers undergraduate courses for a period of 3 to 4 years. 

The Christ University offers 10 B.Sc. courses in different subjects through several departments, 18 B.A. courses, 3 B. Com specializations course.

The university also offers courses such as BHM and BCA. Christ University, Bangalore even offers several postgraduate and professional courses.

The last date for the submission of all the application forms is April 28, 2020.

 Christ University has the following faculties that offering the above-mentioned courses:

  • Commerce and Management
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Sciences

The admission to these courses are made through entrance exams, while there are two other major factors that are taken into consideration while selection a candidate i.e. skill possessed and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination.

  • If you intend to pursue B.A. in any of the programs mentioned above, you will have to comply with the basic eligibility of scoring a minimum of 55% marks in any discipline from any recognized Board (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB) in India or abroad
  • Candidate should have studied at least one subject at 10+2 level, relative to the discipline that one wishes to study in their graduation studies
  • Candidates who are writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 can also apply with their class X and XI marks

B.Tech in mechanical engineering

Student must have 10+2 level certificate from state boards/ CBSE/ Karnataka PUC/ NIOS/ ISC

Student must have mathematics, chemistry and physics in 10+2. 

It is compulsory to have 50% marks in 10+2

B.Sc

Christ University offers the three year B.Sc. course in the following subjects:

  • For B.Sc. in any of the disciplines mentioned above the basic eligibility is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB) with an aggregate of 50% marks from any recognized Board in India or abroad
  • It is compulsory to have studied Mathematics at Class XII level.
  • Candidates who are writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 can also apply with their class X

Note: It is compulsory to have studied any two subjects (Biotechnology, Chemistry and Zoology) at Class XII level, in case applying for Biotechnology/Chemistry/Zoology course.

B.Com

It offers B. Com Programs in the following subjects:

  • B.Com. Hons.
  • B.Com.
  • B.Com. Finance and Accountancy

To apply for B. Com (Hons.) Program:

The students should have completed Karnataka PUC Examination or its equivalent (ISC / CBSE / Others) (10+2) Examination with not less than 60% in aggregate from any recognized university in India or abroad. Also, candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 may apply with their class X and class XI marks statement.

To pursue B. Com and B. Com in Finance and Accountancy:

you need Pass in class 12 (10+2) is the minimum eligibility for applying / admission.

BCA

  • Basic eligibility for the BCA program is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB) from any recognized Board in India or abroad.
  • Candidates who are from non-Computer Science, should have studied any of the following subjects at the +2 level Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Mathematics or Electronics.
  • Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 may apply with their class X and XI marks.


How To Apply

BCA , B.Com & BA

The candidates can apply online but they may also apply offline. Both the methods have explained below:

Direct/Offline Method:

The candidate must ensure to fulfill all necessary requirements for the application form that are stated below.

In order to apply to the course through direct mode, the applicant must obtain the form from any of the centers mentioned in the list given below for the courses they wish to choose. They will have to remit the application fees at

Online Mode

For Online Application, the student can access the University website and can process the application after the remit of application processing fee at SBI core branches in the format of SBI Challan as prescribed on the University Website. The Students can also make payments through payment gateways in case they use a valid Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking Facilities.

The Applicants are required to print or receive and sign the application form after filling in further details on the printed Online Application or Direct Mode Application form. They are advised to take a copy of the application form for their further reference and to produce at the time of selection process.

Applicants should send or submit in person the application. Please note, that the required supporting documents should be sent in an A4 size Envelope only and the candidate is required to mention their respective program for which they applied for and Mobile Number.

For all program (except for B.Com. Courses) Application forms along with supporting documents can be send byRegistered Post / Courier Service to;

It is necessary to have passed the qualifying examination for the courses with the minimum given percentage from a recognized institute by the state or the central government.

Documents required at the time of admission: 

  • Original filled-in printed Christ University BBA application form. 
  • Application processing fee online payment acknowledgment slip (Mandatory).
  • Statement of marks of Class 10 and Class 11 / 12 (Mandatory).
  • Transfer Certificate from Class 12.
  • Copy of Migration Certificate.

Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
 a) Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory). 
 b) Candidates applying under PIO or OCI have to produce the copy of PIO or OCI card, whichever is applicable (Mandatory).

Hi Diya, You can have admission in B.Sc (Hons) Psychology at Christ University. Admission will be purely based on the marks secured in 12th examination. The application form will be filled online through the official website of the university. Further information will be updated on the website as per the availability next year.

Hi Tanu, no cut off marks are declared yet for getting admission in MCA. It would be decided after the result for the entrance is released by the university.
