Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAV) formerly known as University of Indore was established in 1964 by an Act of Legislature of Madhya Pradesh. It is a state public university recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. The university is an ‘’A” grade university as accredited by NAAC. The university has more than 300 affiliated colleges imparting education at Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate levels in basic and professional disciplines. DAV offers admission to the following PG programs for the year:

• MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
• MSW(Master of Social Works)
• M.Lib.Sc.(Bachelor of Library and Information Science)
• MBA(Master of Business Administration)
• M.Sc.(Master of Science)
• MA (Master of Arts)

Candidates who have passed graduation degree in the related or concerned branch can apply for the above mentioned UG programs. The reservation of seats is done in accordance to the policy of Madhya Pradesh government according to which only the domiciles of the State are eligible for the same. Seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories/Kashmiri migrants/children of freedom fighters etc. Check DAV Admission

The registration can be done by filling and submitting the online application along with the necessary documents and processing fee on or before May 15, 2021. Admission to PG Programs shall be based on the merit of the candidate in the Common Entrance Test-2021.The CET is conducted by the university every year for the candidates, who intend to seek admission in various courses offered by the University.

The candidates can apply for admissions to above post graduate courses by filling and submitting the complete online application form along with the required amount of processing fee and important documents on or before .Admission form can be filled through MP Online portal by following the following steps:

• Candidates are advised to check and ensure the eligibility criteria before applying for admission.
• Logon to www.mponline.gov.in  and fill up all correct details in Application Form
• Attach the scanned photograph and signature along the with the application form
• Pay the application fees of INR 1500/- + INR 50/- (Online Service Charge via available online modes.
• Submit the application  form online
• Candidate must keep the Xerox copy of application form for future reference.

NOTE:

• No documents are to be enclosed along with the online application form. Only photograph is to be attached along with the online form.
• The application fee is non-refundable
• Admit cards can be downloaded from the MP Online portal
• The candidates  appearing in the entrance test have to bring admit card and identity proof at the  entrance examination centre
• The list of qualified candidates will be declared on the  MP Online portal

General Eligibility:

• Candidate should be the citizen of India. However some seats are reserved under NRI quota
• Only the candidates (male) who are under 28 years of age  are eligible for PG admissions.
• Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC and physically handicapped candidate of Madhya Pradesh only are provided with the relaxation of three years in upper age limit for.
• The age limit for physically challenged category is 35 years, whereas there is no age limit for the female candidates.
• There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying degree  of the  candidates belonging to the SC/ST / Physically Challenged category of Madhya Pradesh only
• The candidates of Madhya Pradesh will be given the first priority in the admission
• Candidate have to appear and qualify in the common entrance test conducted by the university

Eligibility:Candidate should have hold of graduation degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university

The reservation of the seats is for the categories of MP only. The reservation of different categories is divided in two vertical and horizontal reservation (category), which is given below:

Candidates are selected for above PG Programs on the basis of the merit of the qualifying exam as decided by the university authority on the basis of the entrance test namely CET-2021.

The entrance test shall be based on the syllabus of studied in the previous qualifying degree.

Counselling:

The candidates who are selected for above PG courses on the basis of their merit in the CET are required to appear in the counselling process. The selected candidates are directed to bring the originals and the photocopies of the following documents for the purpose of verification:

• Coloured Photographs (Three)
• Admit Card
• CET-2021 Result downloaded from website
• Marks Sheet of Qualifying examination - Original for verification +1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Proof of Age - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Transfer Certificate - Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Migration Certificate - Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested))
• J.K. Migrant / J.K. Resident Certificate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• M.P. Domicile Certificate - Original for verification, if applicable + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Affidavits for Gap in studies (if applicable) - Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
• Candidates who will be admitted on undertaking will have to produce final result (in case of result not declared at the time of first counselling)  else admission will automatically be cancelled.
