Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAV) formerly known as University of Indore was established in 1964 by an Act of Legislature of Madhya Pradesh. It is a state public university recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. The university is an ‘’A” grade university as accredited by NAAC. Holding the centre of excellence award by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, the University flourishes on an enormous campus, covering 760 acres of land. DAV has more than 300 affiliated colleges. The University offers admission to the following UG programs for the year:
- BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
- BSW(Bachelor of Social Works)
- B.Lib.Sc.(Bachelor of Library and Information Science)
- B.Voc.( Bachelor in Vocation)
- BPES(Physical Education and Sports)
Candidates who have passed senior secondary school successfully in any stream can apply for the above mentioned UG programmes. Reservation of seats in courses offered by the university will be in accordance with the policy of Madhya Pradesh state. Out of the total vacancies in various courses seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories/Kashmiri migrants/children of freedom fighters etc. Check DAV Admission
Candidates can register for admission by filling and submitting the online application form along with the required documents and necessary processing fee. Admission to UG Programmes shall be based on the merit of the candidate in the entrance test followed by counselling.
