The main campus of the university is located in Hyderabad and the other two campuses in Lucknow and Shillong.

Candidates seeking admission in BA (Hons.) should have passed the Intermediate /10+2 or equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and securing 50% marks, 45% incase of SC/ST candidates.
The reservation of all the seats is done according to the provisions of the Central Education Institutions (reservation in Admission) Act 2006.
The reservation is also provided to the Persons with Disabilities under Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation Act 1995 and also for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) candidates.
