Jadavpur University in West Bengal, India offers BA, B.Sc. and B.P.Ed at UG level. The duration of BA, B.P.Ed and B.Sc. courses is three years. The program is offered for a duration of two years. Jadavpur University offers 9 BA courses, 5 B.Sc. courses, and one B.P.Ed. Course. Domicile holders of the state of West Bengal are eligible for reservation. The reservation criteria are as per the rules of state government.
For PWD: Persons with 40% or more disability will only be considered for admission under PD category under PWD. Applicants under PD category will have to appear before an expert committee to be constituted by the University.
For OBC Category: The candidates who will be provisionally selected under the OBC- A and OBC- B categories must produce an OBC certificate at the time of counselling/ admission. It should be issued by the competent authority that clearly indicates:

For Chess: The candidate must have FIDE rating of 1700 and above is eligible to apply for admission under sports quota.
For Tennis: A student having AITA ranking up to 300 for under 18 years boys/girls or ranking up to 500 for open (Men/Women) category is eligible to apply for admission under sports quota.

There will be a separate merit list for male and female candidates.
Note: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination (under 10+2 system) through a correspondence course under any recognized Board/Council, shall be required to sit for a Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT) for admissions to BA (Honours) in Economics, History, Sanskrit and Sociology.
