Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is located in Delhi, India and was established in 1998.

Minimum eligibility for PG courses is Bachelor’s degree from recognized university with minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of IPU CET.
The university offers MA in four specializations which are as follows:

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Natural Resource Management)
Candidates should have passed B.Sc. degree with Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physics Sciences, Earth Science, Agriculture and Geography/ Economics background from reputed university with minimum aggregate 50% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Forensic Sciences)
B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics or Applied Science or Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry or Toxicology or Industrial Chemistry or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Statistics or Biology with aggregate of 50% marks.
B.Sc. in Forensic Science with minimum 50% marks.
B.Sc. of minimum three-year duration with minimum 50% marks. Also, candidate must have studied from atleast 1st year any of two subjects: Physics, Mathematics or Statistics, Chemistry, Biology.
B.Tech (Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, and Computer Science) with minimum 50% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biodiversity & Conservation)
Students must have done B.Sc. degree in Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Anthropology or any field of Life Sciences or equivalent from recognised university with 50% marks.
Master of Science [M.Sc] (Environmental Management)
Candidates must possess B.Sc. degree or equivalent from reputed University with at least aggregate 50% marks.
Candidates with B.Sc. (Engineering) or B.Tech./ BE in Civil/ Chemical or Agriculture Engineering degree with at least aggregate 50% marks from recognised university are also eligible to apply.
Candidate must possess LLB degree or an equivalent Law degree from foreign University with not less than 50% marks.
The university also offers two year of weekend program for which candidate need to possess LLB degree with one year of work experience.
Admission to weekend program is merely based on merit and interview.
Candidates who have passed B.Ed./ BA B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed./ B.El.Ed/ D.El.Ed with any graduation degree from the recognised university with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Master in Conservation & Preservation & Heritage Management
Candidates who have passed three years of Bachelor’s degree course in any subject of Humanities, Commerce or Science from the recognised university.
Candidates appearing for the final year of examination are also eligible to apply.
Students who graduate from an Indian or recognised Foreign University or have passed an examination equivalent to a degree can apply.
Master of Physiotherapy(MPT)
Students must pass in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree of 4½ duration from the recognised university with 50% marks. Or
Candidates with Bachelor of Physiotherapy/B.Sc. (Physiotherapy) of 3½ duration with aggregate 50% marks and bridge course of one year with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics
Candidates should have passed Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics program (BPO) from the recognised university with 50% aggregate marks.
Master in Occupational Therapy [MOT] (Neurology)
Candidates should have passed Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) with 50% marks in aggregate from recognized university.
Candidate must be Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
Candidate must pass B.Sc. in Nursing or B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% marks.
Candidate must have minimum one-year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Candidate must have minimum one-year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
How To Apply
M.Sc , M.Ed & MA
The university offers online mode application for candidates. Candidates must visit the official website of the university, apply online and pay the fees through online mode.
Visit the official website of the university and click on Online Registration.
Fill the form carefully and upload signature, thumb impression and passport size photograph of the candidate.
Click on submit and login and password will be generated to the candidates.
Login by using the credentials and then apply for courses.
Pay the application fees of INR 1000 for each courses applying for through credit/debit card or net banking.
Click on submit and take a print out of the form for future purpose.

M.Sc , LLM & M.Ed
Admission to all the PG courses is done on the basis of IPU CETconducted by GGSIPU, followed by counselling.
The university conducts offline mode of counselling for PG courses, which is as follows:
Counselling schedule will be displayed on the official university website for the qualified candidates.
Candidates should attend the counselling on the scheduled date and time along with all the documents.
Counselling processing fees of INR 1000 which is non-refundable should be submitted by the candidates to attend the counselling.
According to the rank in the merit list of examination, candidates will be called for counselling along with the required documents for verification.
Candidates are advised to pay the fees immediately at the time of counselling otherwise seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list.
Students should not be allowed to change the program during first counselling but they can change the program during second counselling by depositing the additional amount of INR 5000 in the form of DD in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi.
University will stop admission or counselling process, once the seats are filled.
Conversion of the reserved seats for SC, ST, DEF, PH, Minority, etc. to General Category will be done only after the completion of last round of counselling for the reserved category.
Candidates are advised not to pay the second counselling processing fees if they already paid the first counselling fees and vice versa.
If candidates got admission in the first counselling then also they are advised to attend the second counselling if they want to change the program on the basis of merit.
After the two rounds of counselling open house counselling will be held only if the seats remain vacant.
Counselling fee of INR 1000 must be paid by all eligible candidates who participate in open house counselling.
Only CET qualified candidates will be considered for admission through management quota by producing original admit card for admission.
Rest of the counselling procedure remains same as of the first counselling.
All CET qualified candidates are allowed to participate in the third counselling.
3rd counselling is the final counselling and there will not be any further counselling.
There will be no waiting list because after the third counselling.
The university offers admission on the basis of merit list of entrance examination conducted by the university.
