Sri Ramachandra University PG Paramedical Admissions

Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai was founded as a private, non-profit, self-financing body. The University is dedicated to serve as an institute of excellence focused on medical training, exploration and other services. There are nine constituent colleges and multiple faculties covering 100 courses under the University. It even offers Industry collaboration and Research Collaboration.

 

The University invites applications for admission to Post-Graduate Paramedical courses for the academic year 2018. The courses are divided into three groups as per their admission criteria, with admission through an Entrance Exam for Group F and G, and through an Interview for Group E. The Exam and Interview are usually held in June and July.

Eligibility:

You should have a B. Pharmacy Degree awarded by any recognized University.

Master of Physiotherapy(MPT)

  • MPT - Neuro Sciences
  • MPT - Cardio Pulmonary Sciences

Eligibility:

You should have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree awarded by any recognised University.

M.Sc (Nursing)

  • Medical Surgical Nursing
  • Child Health (Paediatric) Nursing
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing
  • Community Health Nursing
  • Mental Health (Psychiatric) Nursing

Eligibility:

  • You should have a minimum educational qualification of B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic with minimum of 55% aggregate marks
  • You should have undergone B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council
  • You should have a minimum one year of work experience
  • You should have a minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic Nursing
  • 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given

Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Hospital & Health Care Management)

You should possess a Bachelor Degree awarded by any recognized University.

M.Phil. (Clinical Psychology)

You should have a M.A. / M.Sc. degree in Psychology awarded by a University recognized by the UGC and secured a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate for general category and 50% for SC/ST/OBC category, preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology.

M.Sc

You should possess MBBS/ BDS/B.P.T./ B.Sc. (Allied Health Sciences/ Emergency Trauma Care Technology/ Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Life Sciences / Bio-sciences/ Medical Laboratory Technology) / Bachelor of Unani Medical Sciences (BUMS) / Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences (BAMS) / Bachelor of Homeopathy Medical Sciences (BHMS) / Bachelor of Siddha Medical Sciences (BSMS) awarded by any recognized university.


How to apply?

You can obtain the Application form in 3 ways:

  • In person, by paying Rs 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) at the University Office 
  • By post, from the Registrar on requisition with a Demand Draft for Rs 600/- (Rupees Six hundred only) drawn in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu-600116” mentioning clearly the name of the course
  • By applying online

Steps to Apply Online:

Step 1: Download the Application form from the website.

Step 2: Fill in the Application form with the required details. The application form should be filled in block letters in your own handwriting. Affix a recent passport size photograph in the spaces provided in the application form.

Step 3: Attach a Demand Draft for Rs. 500 taken in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu-600116”

Step 4: Send the final Application Form along with the necessary enclosures to the following address:

Admission Process

MBA/PGDM , Master of Physiotherapy(MPT) & M.Pharm

For Group A and Group B: You will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the Entrance Exam conducted by the University.

For Group C: You will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the Interview.

Note: If you are appearing for final year or final semester of the qualifying examination, you may appear for the Entrance Exam/Interview.
