NMIMS offers the Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) Programme from the School of Pharmacy and Technology Management. It is a 2 year full time course, spread over 4 Semesters. The Sunandan Divatia School of Science offers the M.Sc., M.Sc. (Economics) and M.Sc. (Biological Science) Programme. It also offers a five year Integrated Integrated M.Sc. in Biomedical Science Programme. The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programme is also for a duration of two years.

For M.Pharma Pharmaceutics there are in total 15 seats and it is a two year course. In first year they have trisemester, later students have to do research on industry related project and the dissertation is to be submitted in the consecutive year. 
M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical quality assurance includes 15 seats for admission. It is also a two year program where in second year dissertation is to be submitted. 
M.Sc. in finance has 30 seats for admission and it is a 2 years course offered by the university. M.Sc in economics is a two year full time course
The University invites applications for the admission to the above mentioned postgraduate programmes for the academic year. The admission procedures for various courses are different. Eligibility Criteria

M.Pharm

The University offers the following specializations under the M.Pharm. Programme:

  • Pharmaceutics
  • Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
  • Industrial Pharmacy
  • Pharmaceutical Technology

You should have passed the B. Pharm. Examination with a minimum of 55% from a recognised University. You are eligible even if you are appearing in your final year examination.

You will be preferred if you have been sponsored by Industry.

M.Sc

You must have passed the three year B.Sc. examination of any recognized University and scored not less than 50% marks in any one of the following subjects - Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Life Sciences.

M.Sc. (Economics) Programme

Eligibility Criteria

You must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized University and should have obtained a minimum 60% aggregate marks.

You should also have done a course in Mathematics or Statistics in your undergraduate studies or at the 10 + 2 examination or equivalent examination.

Integrated M.Sc. (Biomedical Sciences) Programme

Eligibility Criteria

You must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma with Physics, chemistry & Biology as compulsory subject & 60% aggregate marks in Science stream.

M.Pharm

You should register yourself online on the official website.

Selection Process

M.Pharm

You will be selected on the basis of a Personal Interview conducted by the University. There is no written test for admission in core M.Pharma but there is a written test for admission in M.Pharma+MBA. 

Personal Interview: 

  • It will be conducted for 10 to 12 minutes. 
  • Students will be assessed on the basis of  five things- Achievement/ Career orientation, Soft skills, Professional knowledge and skills, Learning orientation/ Perseverance, and Commitment to course

M.Sc

M.Sc. (Biological Sciences) Programme

The selection process will involve a two-stage process.

Stage 1 - You will be required to appear for a Written Test to be conducted at the NMIMS campus in Mumbai.

Stage 2 - Based on your performance in the written test, you will be short listed and called for a personal interview at the NMIMS Campus, Mumbai.

Based on the performance in Stages 1 and 2, a composite merit list will be prepared as per criteria laid down by the University.

M.Sc. (Economics) Programme

You will be selected on the basis of Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview.

The Written test will contain questions which are compulsory and in multiple choice format. It will be for a duration of 2 hours carrying a total of 120 mark. There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. The sectional distribution with each section carrying 40 marks is as follows:

  • Reasoning & General Intelligence
  • Quantitative & Numerical Ability
  • Proficiency in English Language

The Interview will carry 80 marks. The final merit list will be based on the performance in both Written Test & Personal Interview.

Integrated M.Sc. (Biomedical Sciences) Programme

Your selection will be based on your performance in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject aggregate percentage marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination and additional 5 marks if you have scored 60% and above in Mathematics subject.


Reservation

The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India.


Admit Card

  • All the registered students can get the admit card for the written test and personal interview as per the information provided by them in the application form. 
  • To download the admit card visit the official website of the university www.nmims.edu.
  • Without admit card no student will be allowed. 
  • Student must have original ID proof to appear for the admission test. 

Note: there will be no separate admit card posted or mailed to the candidates. 
 

Important instructions: 

  • Campus won't be changed in the tenure of program. 
  • For cancellation of admission student must send the cancellation request letter, original fee receipt by courier to the given address:
