Calicut University has published the Second Allotment List for PGCAP on November 07, 2020. Earlier, the university had published the PGCAP First Allotment List and PGCAP Trial Allotment List. Candidates can check by login in and providing the CAPID and the Password. Check Here
The University of Calicut has released the application form for the PG courses. Currently, it offers 24 undergraduate 22 postgraduate programs. Calicut University also offers full time and part-time M.Phil. & Research programs. There are 28 postgraduate teaching and research departments.
Admission to the PG Programmes in University Teaching Departments (including PG programs to which admission is based on entrance examinations) will be conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (PG CAP) of Calicut University. Eligible candidates will be offered admission on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance examination conducted by the University. MA (Other Languages): 45% in Part II Languages concerned of BA/BSc or 45% in the language main papers in the case of candidates with concerned languages under Part III Pattern I or 45% in language main papers in the case of candidates with the concerned language under Part III Pattern II. A weightage of 5% marks shall be added in the case of those who have taken concerned language under Part III.
MA (Other Non-Languages): Minimum marks prescribed for admission to other non-language subjects is 45% in Part III Optional subjects of BA/B.Sc.
At least 45% marks at graduation level. Applicants will be ranked according to the percentage of marks in part I English or Part III. A weightage of 10% marks shall be added in the case of those who have taken English under Part III.
45% marks in BA Economics, Foreign Trade, Development Economics or 70% marks in B.Sc Statistics, Mathematics. A maximum of 30% of the total seats only will be given to the B.Sc candidates.
Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks in Part III optional subjects.
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 45% marks from recognized by the UGC/ Calicut University. Those who are having post graduation are also eligible for admission. Appearing in the entrance test conducted by university is mandatory for this program.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc. programs:
A B.Sc. Degree in relevant field with at least 50% marks except for M.Sc Bio-Technology (55% marks) and M.Sc. General Bio-Technology (55% marks).
At least 55% of mark or equivalent grade in BSc.(Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Physics or Mathematics or Statistics or Chemistry.
A bachelor degree (10+2+3) with 55% marks in Biotechnology, Bio-informatics, Biochemistry, MicroBiology, Botany, Zoology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Bsc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc, B.Pharm, Life Sciences of the University or any other equivalent Degree approved by the University.
At least 50% marks in Part III Optional in any B.Sc Degree and approved by this University with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects in +2 or B.Sc.Level.
Candidates who have opted Psychology as one of the papers in Degree Part III either Main or Sub.
Bachelor degree in Physics with 60% marks under regular stream of Study (10+2+3) of University of Calicut or any other University/Institution.
Graduate degree in Medical Sciences,MBBS, BAMS, BHMS/ Graduate degree in Biological Sciences or any other Sciences/Humanities and Commerce graduate. A minimum of 45% mark should be obtained in selection test.
Bachelor's Degree recognized by this University with at least 50% marks in BA/B.Sc. Psychology/ MBBS/BHMS/ BAMS/ B.Sc. Nursing Degree/Bachelor's Degree with Psychology as one of the main or Subsidiary papers.
Calicut University offers two-year M.Tech. Nano Science and Technology program. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to this programme.
M.Sc. degree in Nano Science and Technology/ Physics/ Applied Physics/Materials Science/ Chemistry or Applied Chemistry/ Polymer Chemistry with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks. Relaxation in marks for SC/ST or other eligible communities will be given as per rules.
Bachelor's degree in Education with at least 55% Marks of University of Calicut or other Universities recognized by Calicut University. 5% relaxation in marks will be allowed in the case of SEBC candidates and minimum pass is required for SC/ST candidates.
Bachelor’s Degree Course of minimum three years duration with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Appear in entrance test conducted by university is mandatory for this programme.
A Bachelor Degree with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University is mandatory.
Physically Handicapped: For PG programmes, There will be 3 % of seats reserved for physically Handicapped candidates. The candidates having minimum 40% disability certified by the Medical Board.
Sports Quota: Out of every 20 seats in PG Courses one seat will be reserved for outstanding sportspersons.
