KIIT MBA & BBA Admission 2019: Application Form, Placement, Fees

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a private deemed to be university affiliated by UGC and AIU. It has been accredited grade “A” by NAAC and currently imparts professional /non-professional education, research and training.

In the field of management, the institute offers both BBA and MBA programs. Candidates who have passed 10+2 can apply for the BBA program. For application to the MBA program, a candidate must have an undergraduate degree.

Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online/offline application form and submitting it along with the required processing fee, on or before the last date. The admission to the BBA program is done through KIITEE scores. In case of MBA program, KIIT conducts a separate entrance exam viz. KIITEE Management. Candidates with valid CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ XAT can also apply for MBA at KIIT.  Check KIIT Admission 2019

Eligibility Criteria


Duration of the course: 3 years

  • The candidates must have passed 10th and 12th Examinations with Minimum 50% aggregate marks and Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.
  • Candidates who have appeared in UGAT, can apply with the valid UGAT Score.


Master of Business Administration (MBA/ MBA Rural Management)

Duration of the course: 2 years

  • Candidate should be Graduate in any discipline from a  recognized college/university with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education
  • Candidate must have minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying degree
  • Candidate must have KIITEE Management/CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/ ATMA valid score.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation and awaiting their results by June, 2019 can also apply.
  • Candidates awaiting KIITEE MGT/CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/ ATMA results can apply pending publication of results. Such candidates need to send their KIITEE MGT/ CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ ATMA scores within 7 days of publication of results.

How to Apply

Offline Application

Candidate can obtain Admission Application Form by downloading from our website

  1. Fill the application form with the necessary information
  2. Tag the important documents along with application form and the
  3. Submit the application form along with the Demand Draft of required amount drawn in favour of “KIIT School of Management”, payable at Bhubaneswar. The DD along with the filled in and signed application form needs to be sent to “Prof In-charge, Admissions, KIIT School of Management, Campus – 7, KIIT, Bhubaneswar – 751024”.


  • In case of MBA-RM, the DD should be drawn in favour of “KIIT School of Rural Management”, payable at Bhubaneswar. And the DD along with the filled in and signed application form needs to be sent to “Admissions Coordinator, KIIT School of Rural Management, Campus – 7, KIIT, Bhubaneswar – 751024″.
  • Name and Address of the candidate needs to be mentioned on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
    Candidates should retain photocopies of the DD and the application form submitted for future reference.

Online Application

Candidates must apply for admission by filling in and submitting completed online application before the last date. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

Candidate should log on to the website and follow the given steps:

  1. Registration with necessary details and remember the self-created log-in ID and password for future log-in.
  2. Fill the application form with the required details
  3. Upload the scanned copy of  Recent passport sized coloured photograph of the candidate, Full signature of the candidate, Age proof (Admit Card of 10th standard examination) or birth certificate, Mark sheet/grade card of qualifying degree-if required
  4. Submit the application form online
  5. Candidate must keep the Xerox copy of the completed applications for subsequent use

The candidate should bring following important documents in original and their photo copies positively for verification during counselling:

  1. Transfer Certificate   
  2. Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)   
  3. Certificates for Special categories, if required     
  4. Nativity Certificate if required   
  5.  Date of Birth Certificate (SSC / ICSE / CBSE).
  6. Medical certificate
  7. Admit card of 10th standard examination/ Birth certificate
  8. Mark sheet and certificate of 10th standard Board examination
  9. Mark sheet and certificate (if available) of 10+2 standard Board examination
  10. Graduation (B.A., B. Com, B.Sc., Engineering etc.) Certificate and Mark sheet-for MBA.
  11. Conduct Certificate
  12. KIITEE MGT/CMAT/MAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA /UGAT Score card-as applicable

Important Note:

  • Application  fee for BBA.: Rs. 750/-
  • Application fee for MBA: Rs. 1250/-

Note: Then application/registration fee is non-refundable

Admission Process

The admission to BBA program is through KIITEE. The exam will be of objective type and will have 120 questions. The test paper will have four sections as mentioned below:
