Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai was established in the year 1985 as a non-profit, self financing private Institution. The objective of the university is to raise and develop major medical establishments in the country. This university is among the few medical institutes which have sanctioned 250 seats in MBBS degree.

marks secured by the candidates in the university entrance examination which is open to all candidates from any state or union territory of India .

MD & MS Candidate can obtain prospectus and application form from the website “www.ramachandra.edu.in ”. Candidate can submit application to the university along with the DD of Rs. 500/- in favour of " Sri Ramachandra University" payable at Chennai. Enclosures: MBBS/BDS Degree Course Mark Statements pertaining to First year to Final year Consolidated Statement of Marks Attempt Certificate (First year to Final year) Community Certificate (SC/ST/BC/OBC Candidates must enclose photocopy of the Certificate) Photocopy of Birth Certificate MBBS/BDS Provisional Pass Certificate - I/II or Degree Certificate Internship Certificate State Medical Council’s/State Dental Council’s Permanent Registration Certificate Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate/HSC Mark Statement Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied. Admission Process MD & MS Selection of the candidate will be based on the marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by the university. To get admission in the PG courses candidate should have successfully completed the course at the time of admission. Candidate will be rejected if he/she is found to be involved in ragging. Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in the entrance exam. For SC/ST and OBC candidates, 40% marks are required. If multiple candidates secure same marks in the entrance examination then the selection will be based on their academic performance. Only medically fit candidates are selected to take admission.
