CMR University offers a variety of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree programs. The candidates can take admission by filling the online application form. The University follows online mode of admissions only. Admission to all the courses in the university is made through entrance exams. University also has provisions of reservation for ST/SC/OBC, and Differently-abled students.

School of Engineering and Technology, CMR University offers four year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program for the academic year 2020. The program is offered in four disciplines. Check CMR University Admission 2020.

Application Procedure

You can download the Application form online from the University website.

  1. VIsit CMR University Website.
  2. Complete the registration process with a valid e-mail id and a mobile number, after which you will get a login id and password.
  3. Aftetr successful registration a login id and password will be generated.
  4. Using the login id and password fill the application form correctly.
  5. Pay an application fee of INR 750 using a Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking/ offline payment.
  6. Upload the passport size photograph and signature with size less than 80 kb in .jpg format.
  7. Select the date preferences for the test among the 4 options given.
  8. Submit the Application form.

If you have opted for offline payment: Take a printout of the Application form duly signed along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 750 drawn in favour of CMR UNIVERSITY, payable at Bangalore to:

Eligibility Criteria

B.TechComputer Science and Engineering10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks in all subjects taken together (40% marks for SC/ST/PH category).

Electronics and Communication Engineering


The reservation criteria is as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Selection Process

Admission to the B.Tech program is granted on the basis of counselling conducted by the University. This counselling session is conducted on the basis of a valid score in any of the following exams:

  • Common Entrance Test (CET) and Selection Process
  • COMEDK and Selection Process

Candidates need to register for a free counseling session to determine and finalize the academic program of choice
