Gautam Buddha University (GBU) is a Research University located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a state university which was established in 2002. GBU offers multiple integrated programs in the fields of technology, management, and humanities. The integrated programs are open for candidates who have completed their intermediate or equivalent degree from a recognized board.
The admission process for integrated programs begins in January. The application forms are made available on the official website of the university. The selection for integrated programs is through an entrance exam conducted by GBU.

The entrance exam is conducted in the offline mode at 22 different centres across India. The entrance exam is conducted in April after which the university declares a merit list of candidates selected for admission. The academic session at GBU begins in July.

Seats will be reserved for the SC/ST/OBC category candidate is as per the Uttar Pradesh Government rules and Gautam Buddha University rules.
Selection of candidates for admission to Integrated courses at GBU is on the basis of performance in a written test conducted by the university except for BA-MA integrated program. In case of BA-MA integrated program in Buddhist Studies and Civilization, the University grants admission on the basis of marks in qualifying degree.
The written test conducted for Integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech./MBA will be of 2 hours duration and will have objective type questions. The paper will have three sections – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Mathematics section will carry 40% weightage while Physics and Chemistry will carry 30% weightage each. The questions will be from 10+2 science syllabus.
The written test for Integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech./MBA in Food Processing and Technology, and Biotechnology will also be of 2 hours duration with 100 multiple-choice questions. The paper will have four sections – Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates will have the choice to answer any one of the sections from Biology and Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry are compulsory for all candidates. The weightage will be 40% for Biology/Mathematics, and 30% each for Physics and Chemistry. The questions will be of 10+2 level.
The written test for Integrated BBA and MBA program will again be objective in nature and will be conducted over a period of 2 hours. The test paper will have four sections – Reasoning and Aptitude (30% weightage), Mathematical Ability (30% weightage), English Proficiency (20% weightage), and General Knowledge (20% weightage).
