Hyderabad University (UOH) MBA Admission 2020: Application Process, Entrance Exam, Eligibility

Hyderabad University MBA Registration has started. Aspirants can apply online for the UoH MBA program at School of Management Studies. Candidates must appear for the CAT exam conducted by the IIMs to apply for the MBA course. 

Registration fee for MBA application fee of INR 550 (for General), INR 500 (for EWS), INR 350 (for OBC category candidates) and INR 250 (for SC/ST/PwD category candidates).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must possess three year first class Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognised by UGC/the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE from this university or any other recognized university with 60% marks.

Eligibility for foreign candidates

  • Bachelor’s degree in first class in any field from an officially recognized University/Institution in their country of residence with 60% or above mark.
  • Two academic references and must submit a statement of purpose.
  • NRI candidate may apply directly to the MBA course.

Admission Process

Initial screening of candidates will be done on basis of merit of CAT score. Selected candidates then will be called for the Group discussion and interview which will be conducted at University Campus. Hyderabad University Fee Structure.

How to Apply

  1. Candidate has to visit official website.
  2. Navigate to “Admissions” tab.
  3. Click on Latest Admission Info
  4. After that Click on MBA Admissions
  5. Now click on “Online Application”
  6. Register on New Application
  7. Enter the  details and upload scanned images
  8. Submit the application fee online through the payment gateway

Enclosures

  1. Mark sheets from Matriculation onwards
  2. Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
  3. Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate.
  4. Entrance Exam scorecard (Wherever applicable).
  5. Latest Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  6. Medical Certificate issued by a Civil Surgeon of a Govt. Hospital (in case of candidates with Disabilities only).
  7. Certificate from a Competent Authority of the Defence Department in case of Wards/dependents of Defence personnel (DP).
  8. Certificate of Competent Authority in case of candidates selected under Migrants of Jammu & Kashmir quota.

Reservation Process

  • 5% relaxation will be given to candidates belong to SC/ST category
  • 1 seat is reserved in each course for the candidates belong the Union Territories / North-Eastern States
  • 2 seats are reserved for the Supernumerary seats for Jammu & Kashmir under special scholarship scheme
  • 15% seats are reserved in each course for the foreign candidates.

Hi Gopalakrishnan, there is a relaxation of 5% in minimum percentage criteria for SC/ST candidates. Thus, if you fulfill this criteria, then, you will be eligible to apply for admission, else not.
