    Admission Process

Students are selected on the basis of their performance in the UET. The students need to attend the Counseling Procedure for admission after the announcement of the Merit lists.

Step 1 - Download the Call Letter.

Students are informed about their selection and Call Letter through an e-mail. Students need to download the Call Letter for the Counseling. They can do so by logging into their Entrance Test Portal account.

Step 2 - Fill the Preference Entry Form.

Selected students need to fill a Preference Entry form. In the form, students have to fill in their choices of courses and disciplines they want to study in. All the choices are to be made very carefully.

Step 3 - Report to the Counseling venue as per the allotted time and date.

Further, students need to report to the Counseling venue. After consulting the teachers present over there, students can make changes to the choices made in the Preference Entry Form. Once the Form is modified, students need to take a print-out of the same and sign it. Students then need to submit the signed Form along with the following documents for Documents Verification.

    1. High School Examination Certificate and Mark sheets.
    2. Graduation mark sheets and Certificate, if applicable.
    3. Migration Certificate.
    4. Transfer Certificate.

    9. Physically Challenged Certificate.

Step 4 - Get the Provisional Admission Letter.

Once, all the documents are verified, a computer allots a seat to a student. The allotment is based on merit as well as student's choices. After allotment, students are provided a Provisional Admission Letter (one day after the counseling).

Step 5 - Make the Fee payment

Once the Provisional Admission Letter is received, students need to pay the Admission fees to confirm their admission. The payment can be done online as well as offline. If the payment is made offline, students need to submit the proof of the same at the Counseling venue before the deadline.

Up-gradation of seats is possible. In case of any up-gradation, the upgraded students are informed of the same and changes are made accordingly.

Hi Anamika, yes, admission to all the UG courses is done on the basis of UET (University entrance Test) conducted by the university. Usually, UET is conducted in the month of May. Thus, next UET is likely to be conducted in May, 2020.

Hi Pawan, students who have passed intermediate will be considered eligible for the course. There is no minimum percentage criteria in the univerity for being eligible for a concerned course. However, admission is based on undergraduate entrance test (UET) conduct by Banaras Hindu University.

Hi Ankit, there is no other way to get admission in the university. Although the university provides seats via management quota, but still, that form is also available for a limited period of time along with the admission forms. Thus, you will have to wait till next year to get admission in the university.
