• PG master’s entry: four-year Honours bachelor’s with a B (around 65 to 70%) average in the final two years.

1. Choose your platform. For UG, decide between York’s own portal (single university) or OUAC 105 (multiple Ontario unis). For PG, use the York Graduate portal. For MBA, use Schulich.
2. Complete the online form with academic history, program choice, and personal statement.
3. Pay the application fee — CAD 140 (around ₹9,718) on the York application portal for UG or PG. 
4. Upload documents to MyFile — the applicant portal opens after the fee clears and issues a York student number.
5. Submit English test scores directly from the testing body. York does not offer conditional admission pending scores.
6. Track your decision — undergraduate assessment takes four to six weeks after all documents arrive; graduate decisions run eight to fourteen weeks after the deadline.

Undergraduate offers are released rolling from January onward for Fall intake, and offer packages state an acceptance deadline of one to three weeks. Graduate offers are released two to three months after the program’s dated deadline. York permits a one-term deferral for undergraduate offers when supported by a documented reason, with a fresh confirmation required by the deferred term’s start.
