  • St. Lawrence College offers a Bachelor of Business Administration for a duration of 4 years.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a part-time basis.
  • The program is designed to provide students a degree that combines the practical strengths of a college environment while including the theory-based education provided at the university level. 
  • Students have to successfully complete 120 credits or 40 courses.
  • The part-time option for this program is designed around a flexible schedule in which courses are offered on evenings as well as weekdays.
  • This unique program allows previous graduates of the college to update their current qualifications while maintaining employment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students have to successfully complete post-secondary education from a recognized college or university.
  • Students hold a minimum standard overall average of 70% or a 2.80 GPA and must be in good academic standing with their last college or university to be considered for entry. 

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has the minimum with 60% marks.
  • The minimum qualification required to attend this program is a higher secondary school certificate.
  • Copies of original documents should be attested by the educational institution.
  • School Record of Diploma/Degree certificate Mark sheets for each year of study is required.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

VISA & Work Study

VISA

  • A Student VISA authorizes students to study in Canada legally.
  • International students will receive their Study Permits in the form of a paper document which will usually be attached to the passport at the Canadian port of entry.
  • Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs), commonly called Entry Visas, are to be obtained by foreign nationals who require visas to enter Canada, while Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) allows foreign nationals from visa-exempted countries to enter Canada without a visa.
  • At the time of VISA application, students need to provide various documents:
    • Application form and Study Plan
    • Biometrics (fingerprints and photographs)
    • Valid Passport
    • Official SFU Acceptance Letter
    • Financial Evidence

Work Study

The Work-Study Program allows students to take part in research-based projects. Students may work on-campus and off-campus. Students can only start working in Canada when they start their study program. There are no restrictions on the number of hours students can work on campus in addition to working off-campus.

  • During regular school semesters, students can work up to 20 hours.
  • During scheduled breaks in their school year, like during winter and summer holidays, they can work full-time.
  • Students can’t work during a break that comes before the student start their very first school semester.
  • If their program doesn’t have scheduled academic breaks, students can’t work more than 20 hours per week.
