    • College Edouard Montpetit comprises two campuses namely Main campus in Longueuil and École nationale d'aérotechnique in St-Hubert

    Admission Deadlines: 

    The deadlines for admission in the first are as follows:

    1. For the autumn session, it is March 1.
    2. For the winter session, it is November 1.

    After being admitted, students would have to confirm the course of their choice and pay the registration fees which is approximately CAD 209 per session

    Basic Admission Requirements

    1. High school diploma (DES) or equivalent
    2. A professional degree (DEP) and the completion of any one of the following:
      1.  5th grade language of instruction, 4th grade mathematics and 5th secondary second language.
      2. Secondary School Equivalency Certificate (CEES) that includes Second Language of 5th Secondary
      3. Training equivalent by CEGEP
    3. Different programs’ pre- course programs.
      • All the international students need to obtain immigration papers. The deadline to submit the application is March 31. Requirements for international students are as follows:
        • The application form
        • A certified French copy of the newsletters of their last 3 years of study.
        • A certified French copy of the diplomas corresponding to the students’ newsletters.
        • A certified copy in French of the birth certificate
        • A certified bank draft or a cheque of CAD 85 on behalf of the SRAM
      1. The students receive the final decision via email with a summary of the steps to be taken.

    The institute provides a range of awards and scholarships in Canada for international students. It offers more than a hundred scholarships every year. Currently it has managed to raise around CAD 118,656 for the emergency fund in order to support students hardest hit by the current Covid-19 crisis.

    The institute also organises various events like the ENA Merit Gala and the Édouard-Montpetit Cegep Foundation Scholarship Gala where they award more than 100 scholarships to its students.

    Work-study alternating internships are offered by the College. Students can also participate in paid internships that prepare them for their professional life. At the moment, the work-study internship programs are offered in the following programs:

    • Multimedia integration techniques

    General training is also provided by the College. The Work-Study Alternation program offers students the chance to participate in two paid internships in aeronautical companies. These internships help students to develop professional mobility.

    The institute offers placement opportunities in both part-time and full-time jobs. For part-time jobs that are available seasonally, a maximum work of 15 hours per week is required. Full-time jobs are however available at the end of December and are applicable for only graduates.

    I applied for College Edouard (Montpetit) because my elder sister graduated from this college and I knew about its academic structure, fees, faculty, residence facility, and campus environment. I must say this college fulfills all my requirements. Also, the placement rate of this college is really high. In order to apply, I visited the SRAM website. Also, the application fee of the program was $200.

    Course Curriculum :

    This program is designed to target the overall growth of the students. Our curriculum not only focuses on the academic aspect, but it is structured to give us holistic experience. We get to do a compulsory internship to get real-world experience and also the curriculum allows us to do part-time work while pursuing our study.

    To oriented my decision about my future in the professional world and have good grades. For now, my next step is to integrate the multimedia program and possibly go to an university.

    Course Curriculum :

    It is much different from the one in secondaire, it takes a lot of work and patient. For now it is not that bad but its only been 2 semester and the rest will be muche harder I think.

    I was very interested in the hockey program. I am a hockey player so I went to this shcool for the hockey team. Also, it is not too far away from my house so I can get there by car, I don't have to rent an appartement.

    Course Curriculum :

    The basic courses are all good, from another point of view, the optional courses are not very interesting. from what I have understand, I cannot have acces to every optional courses because of the programm that I am in.
