Cegep Andre-Laurendeau International Admissions

Foreign nationals are required to fulfill certain additional requirements to be considered for Cegep Andre-Laurendeau admissions. Notably, the academic requirements for international applicants remain the same as domestic students.

Visa Requirements for International Students

For International Candidates, to obtain the Study Permit, the following should be submitted.

  • Letter of Acceptance from the College
  • Receipt of Payment of tuition fee for the first year of study
  • Guaranteed Investment Certificate worth at least 10,000 CAD
  • Medical Examination, if required
  • Police certificate if required
  • A minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS
  • French assessment score on the Canadian language benchmarks
  • Biometric Data (if needed)
  • A valid Passport

English Language Proficiency

For non-native English speaking candidates whose medium of instruction is English, English Language Proficiency Tests such as TOEFL (iBT/PBT) / IELTS Academic should be taken up and the corresponding score should be submitted.

International French Test

Those International Candidates whose medium of instruction is French should take up International French tests such as Bright, DELF/DALF, TCF, TEF at an advanced level and produce their scores. The following table illustrates the minimum required scores for the exams.

Cegep Andre-Laurendeau College offers two-year Pre-University and three-year technical programs across numerous studies such as Accounting, Transport Logistics, Engineering, Humanities, Nursing under the diploma wing.
