Reviews
I choose this college because it is in Brampton and it is the closest to where I planned to live. The courses are easy and the diploma is easy to pass. The classes can be adjusted to 2 days a week and a 3-year work permit is also given after completing the diploma.
Course Curriculum
Academics are very easy. The course curriculum is updated and the course syllabus is set at the beginning of every semester and the teachers are flexible enough to change them in between. There is no industrial exposure or research experience. The courses are relatively easier to pass.
I choose this college because the Brampton branch of Sheridan accepts a lot of Indian students and almost the whole of the college is filled with Indian students. So it just feels like home in another country. The computer programmer diploma was affordable at Sheridan College and also there was a facility to get a 3-year work permit after completing the studies.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is great although it feels like the teaching is going at a very fast pace with less amount of time given on the understanding of each topic. Practical projects are a part of every course taken at the college. The course syllabus is relevant to what is demanded in the industry.
At that time, My Computer Programmer course was only in two colleges George Brown college and Sheridan College where Sheridan has more in developing side that is why.
Course Curriculum
My course was really good, It includes all the major programming languages. I am really impressed.
I chose this college because of its acceptance of international students. Most of the students in the Brampton branch of Sheridan College are Indians. Therefore, it was easier to mix up and connect with people. Another reason was the affordable study program that taught most of the latest technologies.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is up to date and covers all the latest technologies and programming languages like C#, Java, Python, Web Development, .NET, etc. We are asked to make projects after learning one skill that helps gain experience and we can add those projects to our resume. Industry visits happen occasionally at the college as well.
It has an excellent faculty and a solid foundational course that is needed to build practical skills.
Course Curriculum
The syllabus was up-to-date but the course was more demanding than I expected.
