Housing Facilities/ Residence

The Vanguard College provides housing facility to 1st year students only. The housing facility provided is also limited. Apart from that the college leases several houses within the two block radius of the college.

  • The houses offer both private and shared bedroom opportunities to suit various budgets of the students.
  • The college helps the students with Community Housing when the college residential campus is full.

All the international students must prove their English by clearing English Language Proficiency Test. The tests that are accepted by the college for proficient knowledge of English are

How to apply

Following is the detailed explanation of how domestic and international students can apply for the particular course:

Online Application

  • Go to the Vanguard College’s official website and select apply.
  • Then complete the application by creating username, password etc.
  • Then pay the application fee.
  • Fill up the Form A by someone who can accurately describe the candidate’s academic and social abilities.
  • Form B is to be completed by the Pastor of the candidate.
  • Official transcripts like the high school certificates are to be submitted.
  • Then the candidate needs to complete an Enhanced Police Information Check.

Documents Required

For domestic applicants –

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. Grade 12 English Completion Certificate.

For applicants from other Provinces –

  1. Grade 12 from British Columbia.
  2. Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  3. One year CEGEP from Quebec

For applicants from United States of America –

  1. Grade 12 Diploma with a minimum final average of 60%
  2. American College Test (ACT) if available
  3. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) if available

For International applicants –

  1. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  2. Certificate indicating subjects studied and grade received
  3. Grade 12 High School Diploma
