Telfer School of Management Undergraduate Admissions

The Telfer School of Management provides only one Bachelor’s programs – BCom (Bachelor of Commerce). The basic requirements for all courses are the same. However, there is some specific requirement for a number of courses.

Admission Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma from a Canadian province/ territory or equivalent.
  • Transcripts of all academic institutions attended previously.
  • Letters of reference.
  • Students need to prove English language proficiency or French Language Proficiency by submitting their Test scores.
  • Statement of Interest.
  • A letter of intent or resume may be required for certain specific courses.

There are several additional requirements for the international students along with the general requirements which are the same as the Canadian applicants.

English Proficiency Language Requirements

All the applicants who are applying for English language programme and does not have English as their first language or who have not completed at least three years of education from an institute where the primary language is English need to prove their proficiency in English by submitting their TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL, PTE, CAE or University of Ottawa CanTEST scores.

Student Permit for International Students

  • The selected applicants will be sent an offer of admission. You will be able to access the admission file on the website which will contain the offer of admission along with the details about how to accept the offer and the requirements that you must meet.
  • The accepting the offer, the next step is to apply for a student permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
