I chose UBC because of its reputation and ranking. I chose my program because of the faculty.

    Course Curriculum :

I find my course curriculum very interesting and thoughtful.

    9 /10 academic/food

I've always wanted to pursue psychology and I knew that UBC had a great psychology department as well as research opportunities! I liked whatever I had read and heard about the school. Good faculty, campus, location, facilities, opportunities, etc.

    Course Curriculum :

As of now, I'm quite happy with the curriculum and my professors!

    7 /10 academic/food
    7 /10 faculty

I chose UBC mostly because of the country. My original target was the US but I realized midway through the process that in the end; the chances of an Indian like me settling down or even living in the US after bachelor's graduation were very slim. My target was to get out of Japan and live somewhere else which why Canada was perfect. It was a win-win situation because UBC is a good university and Canada opens its arms to educated individuals to further reinforce its own economy. I would not have to worry about immigration status because Canada lets people stay and settle down depending on one's merits which is how it should be instead of what the US is doing.

    Course Curriculum :

I just recently passed my first year so I don't have much industrial exposure but the university does a substantial job providing internship opportunists through the paid co-op program. As for the curriculum, it is comprehensive and industry-driven as it is constructed towards invoking practical abilities in the students which they can use in workplaces. However, I can only confirm this for the engineering department and believe other departments are some of the best in the country but without first-hand experience.

    8 /10 academic/food
    9 /10 faculty
    8 /10 infrastructure
    9 /10 accomodation
    8 /10 placement
    PR
    8.0 /10

Because it's one of the best business schools in Canada.

    Course Curriculum :

Few courses have a very hands-on experience that they provide through various simulations, that give the students a feel of the real-life business scenarios.

    10 /10 academic/food
    9 /10 faculty
    10 /10 infrastructure
    10 /10 accomodation

This college was perfect for me because of its small size and a better climate than the rest of Canada with great quality of education.

    Course Curriculum :

I'm right now in my first year so they just taught us the basics that they teach us in senior high School
