    St. Michael's College was founded in 1852 as a private institution and in the year 1910 it came into a federation with the University of Ontario, Currently, it is working as a university in association with the University of Toronto. The university registered full-time undergraduate enrolment of 4,650, graduate enrolment of 54, and part-time undergraduate and graduate enrolment of 54 and 77 respectively in the year 2017. 

    St. Michaels programs reflect Christian beliefs and culture. It offers space to students of different backgrounds who are interested in the intersections of religious faith and modern life. The college along with the University of Toronto provides students a unique educational experience unlike any other university in Canada. It offers unique programs like Book and Media Studies, Christianity and Culture, and Medieval Studies. St. Michaels is home to many influential scholars throughout history.

    • In the US News and World Report 2020 edition ST. Michaels College is ranked 124th in the National Liberal Arts Colleges

    Campus

    • The campus is in suburban settings covering the area of 440 acres of the beautiful city Toronto. 
    • It has an athletic center, Goldring Centre of High-Performance Sport, and fitness center on-campus. Students can rent lockers in Brennan Hall.
    • There is an on-campus 24/7 security patrol for the safety of students, faculty, and staff.
    • Kelly Café, Common rooms, wellness center, Teefy Study hall, Mike’s Café, Basketball court, Student lounge are the popular hangout areas on-campus. 

    Residence

    • The college gives accommodation to nearly 500 students.
    • Residency applications are accepted online through the official website of the university. Applicants must apply as early as possible to secure the residence hall of their choice. 
    • There are different types of residence buildings on-campus. Some have both single and double occupancy rooms, but the majority of buildings have double occupancy. 
    • Loretto College residence is exclusively for women and is located in the upper east side of the university campus. It has double rooms with en-suite washrooms and single rooms with shared washrooms. 
    • Meal plans with residence are also available for the students.

    Programs

    • The university offers undergraduate and graduate courses in more than seven areas of study. 
    • Undergraduate courses are offered in Book and Media Studies, Celtic Studies, Christianity and Culture, and Medieval Studies.
    • There are many short courses here that are not offered annually. 
    • The university offers courses that introduce freshman students to university-level studies.
    • It offers continuing education opportunities to the alumni, the Catholic community, and Ontario's professional communities.
    • Diploma in Interfaith Dialogue introduces students to many of the different religions and faiths the neighboring communities have.
    • Under its Advanced Degree programs, it offers two Masters and two Doctoral programs.

    Undergraduate international applicants seeking admission in St.Michaels can apply through the official website of the University of Toronto, while those who want to apply to other Ontario universities can apply through OUAC (Ontario Universities Application Center).

    Financial Aid for International Students

    • Financial Assistance forms are available on the university’s website and candidates must download and fill it up before the deadline. The following scholarships are for both domestic and international students.
      • Donald Cameron Memorial Award: It is awarded to the Toronto School of Theology students in the final year of a basic degree program or first year of a graduate degree program. This award is worth 3,600 CAD and the application is accepted during the Winter session.
      • Marjorie Watson Powles Award:  It is granted to the graduate students with the highest academic achievement in the first year of their studies. The award is worth 2,400 CAD and no application is required for this one. 
    • The University of St. Michaels College offers financial assistance to the highest academic achiever and who exemplifies a creative vision for the Church and the community through their projects and/or engagements. However, there are many external sources as well that offer financial assistance to international applicants. Willing candidates must apply for the scholarship before the last Friday of February.

    Good program, good community, friendly country.

    Course Curriculum :

    I would say it's pretty relevant as many of them have taken the effect of covid into account and discuss what's happening in the industry.
