I'd always wanted to study in Canada due to the education system and facilities. My grades aligned with the requirements, so, I chose this college. I submitted an online application to their online portal and even paid $100 as an application fee that time.
The course taught us core leadership skills for the corporate world, such as critical organisational skills, communications, teamwork, handling individuals and teams, and managing realistic administrative matters. My curriculum was very well defined and had all the important concepts and theories.
Following my BBA, I worked as an intern in a business. There, I recognised business demands and determined that a diploma is needed to succeed in this area. As a result, I decided to pursue this course. As evidence of English proficiency, I took the TOEFL exam and received a score of 622. My transcripts and a letter of recommendation had also been submitted.
We had signed up for Handshake, a website that makes it simple for companies to discover, interview, and hire the best college talent around the globe. Any work vacancy and opportunity was sent to us via Handshake plus placement cell was also there. As result 90% of the students got placed with the pay scale of $80,000.
Various activities, such as guest lectures, conferences, and other sporting events, are also held on a frequent basis for us. I used to be always excited to take part in sporting competitions.
The tuition fee for this course was $9,300 where as the student activity fee that I paid was close to $200. As it was diploma course so fee was relatively less that's why I did not feel the need of taking financial aid. But there were few students who had applied for scholarship or financial aid.
Professors were mainly with advanced degrees, experienced business administrators, and accomplished teachers make up the faculty, and they are always willing to share their expertise and experience with us. Classes were always kept in small batches so every student could understand the concept crystal clear.
I was able to find a home-stay close to the college campus. International students can get help from the university with off-campus housing options such as renting/flatting/home-stay apartments near the university. It used to cost me $10000 for the room and stay, plus another $5000 for other necessities.
