Great Student-Faculty Relationship

    7.7 /10

My college is committed to a diverse and inclusive campus for all of us and employees, regardless of race and that is what attracted me the most. Also, they condemn all forms of anti-Black racism and all systems of oppression that deny individuals the right to equitable treatment, access, and fairness. My GPA was around 8.2. I had to submit an application form along with an application fee of $95.

    Course Curriculum :

Our business program is very effective and rigorous. With the help of industry-connected professors, we develop our knowledge of accounting using the latest tools and technology in order to gain the skills employers need.

    Exams :

In order to study accounting and make my career in this field, I decided to apply for this program. I was required to submit my internet-based TOEFL score of 95. The documents required were my official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and an essay.

    Placement :

The Career Development Office is the gateway to all things career-related at Durham College. Whether you’re a future student, current student, alumni, employer, or a member of the faculty, they have services to assist.

    Events :

Many places and activities on campus are available for you to meet, study or relax with your classmates. If you prefer organized activities, you will be well represented by Your Student Association which is responsible for social events and activities throughout the academic year and is home to more than 70 student clubs.

    Fees :

My tuition expenses were around $33000. Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. Occasionally, there may be other requirements for qualification such as membership in a certain organization or enrolment in a specific program. Students must be in good academic standing to receive a bursary.

    Faculty :

My professors offer group and one-to-one, course-specific peer tutoring to us, who are experiencing academic difficulty. Students may apply for peer tutoring in one or two courses, and when available, will be matched with trained upper-year students who can provide extra academic support.

    Hostel :

If you will be moving to Durham Region to attend Durham College, you have great options available for creating the perfect home for the duration of your studies. Whether you want to take advantage of the residence guarantee for first-year students or live off-campus, Durham College is dedicated to helping you build your home away from home. My living expenses were around $5000.
