Cheap university comparatively, located in the center of the Downtown, easily accessible, had many acquaintances in there.
I believe it's not that advanced but keeping up with the current trends for sure
IELTS 6.5 bands (Academic) individual for international students. 12th grade minimum requirement is 60% in individual subjects.
This is where this university lacks, this UW just provides co-op opportunities to ACS, business and economics students. Students with other majors are on their own.
The university itself doesn't hold much of the events. But there are some extracurricular activities always going; dog days, yoga classes, zumba etc.
For international students its roughly $1650 per course you take, Science & business courses are even more expensive. So in order to complete a three year degree on time, we need to take a tleast 10 courses/yr, which makes it around $17000 per year (excluding UW incidental fees which is around $480 per semester) Don't forget to add the Health Insurance + Bus pass fees, which is additional $1600 per year.
I believe the number of staff is properly rationed. Moreover, classes do have fixed student to teacher ratio, which is good for one on one attention
Never used the Dorm, I live in a shared basement which reduces the cost of living effectively.
