My journey in Douglas College !

    AS
    7.7 /10

I had applied to several universities and got approval from many of them. I chose this university over the rest because of it affordable quality education and high consistent placement rates. My online application fees was $90. In my 12th standard, I got 96.21%.

    Course Curriculum :

The applied curriculum of this program had provided me skills in intermediate-level accounting, financial reporting, taxation, management accounting and auditing segment. It was an eight semester program comprised of 121 credits. In order to complete this course, I had to complete BUSN 4500, the capstone course, which requires me to had have 500 hours of Canadian work experience that was documented and signed off by my supervisor.

    Exams :

As a language proficiency test, I took TOEFL and scored 96 marks in it. At the time of admission, documents required were as follows, two recommendation letter from my principle of school, an essay on my profile, student study permit or visa, academic transcripts, etc.

    Placement :

During the final year placement drive, I was selected as a executive accountant in McCain Foods and got $55000 as my annual CTC. Also almost every one from my friend circle got placed in that drive with handsome package. So according to me the placement rates are quite high here.

    Events :

My favorite festival were spring festival, Doll festival, Acco festival, and harvest festival in the campus.

    Faculty :

The faculty members whom I met here were mostly industry professionals. They had an immense knowledge in current market scenario. Also they had links in the professional market that helped in completing my course as soon as possible. The student faculty ratio of this college was optimum, I had gotten sufficient chances to clear my doubts one to one in live class sessions.

    Hostel :

My accommodation charges were $15000 per annum including my meal charges. I had all the basic facilities in my residency which should be in a standard housing. Initially It was difficult for me to get habitual with the culture but by the time I got the flow.
