My life in Yorkville University !

I opted for this course because I wanted to be businessman, and I wanted to turn my passion into profession. I was really looking at going for business studies after completing my school education and project management was something that I would really like to pursue. It was one of the university that were providing the course that I was looking for exactly. My online application fees was $70 for one program.

    Course Curriculum :

My course curriculum was set up as such that it allowed me to have an understanding of how it actually functions as a business society, although It allowed me to interact and engage as well. It gave me a number of very important skills so that I could succeed in my professional career. Most important fact was that I had applied and integrated the practical consequences of business world here which helped me in learning the various aspects of market phenomenon.

    Exams :

My score in my 12th standard was 96.49% having maths as my main strength. At the time of admission, I was required to submit my academic transcripts along with few recommendation letters, student visa permit, essay on my profile, etc. My IELTS score was 7.1 and my SAT score was 1390 in my very first attempt. My batch size was 20.

    Placement :

When I started the program, I didn't know I was going to end it wanting to be an entrepreneur. I knew i wanted to do that but I didn't think I would because it's such a big risk and I've never really been a big risk taker. But when push came to shove, I developed such a great business plan. I returned back to India after completing my course here. The placement rate of this college was quite high comparable with other universities in that year.

    Events :

Convocation ceremony was the main event I had been waiting for since my initial day here. Anyway, there were many festivals celebrated here all over the year. Few of them are toronto film school festival, grad bash, Canada day, Christmas, Holi, Diwali, new year celebrations, annual cultural fest, sports meet, etc.

    Faculty :

I felt this university as my home, I had never felt alone here. My professors helped me in each and every way. They used to blend the academic with the practical experience and I think that was the strength of my whole course. They had taught me marketing, accounting, finance, and how to access the economic environment, how the economy is doing, etc.

    Hostel :

Diversity, equity, and inclusion were critical components of life on my campus. For me, it was about welcoming and supporting each other and showing those around us that we accept them for who they were. My campus was accessible by Toronto's transit and the surrounding area had lots of different restaurants and kinds of cuisines to choose from within the walking distance. My accommodation fees and my meal charges were worth $18000 per annum including all taxes.
