Canadian College Experience
Well, many of my Indian friends and seniors have studied in the same college and they recommended this college to me. We talked with the IDP consultants in India about the admissions and then I applied for this college. Application fees I don't really remember but I think it was around 500 Indian rupees or more. My 12 grades were good, I got 81% which was nice for my part.
It is good. We have 6 subjects and classes can be selected according to the students need. And you have to pass in every subject by scoring 50 % in all of them.
Well, I like learning about the trends of the business and the impact that it has on many communities. My Bach size is around 20-25 students. Total credit includes 6 subjects is 18. Have at least 75% of the average. I took IELTS and scored 7 bands, you are required to have 6 each if you are applying for this college.
Exams are held at the end of every semester and midterms. You should get 50% in all subjects to pass.
Well, the faculty is nice to all international students. Teaching methods are very good and interactive, they also have tutors in every class if students have any problem they can talk to him after class. Most teachers have PhDs.
My program has a fee of 8000 dollars for international students each semester. Loans are provided to students who can't pay by themselves. Goodwill and Scotiabank. You should get 3 Goa in the semester to avail scholarships. Most students get the required criteria for scholarships and get financial help from the college.
Camus has hostels but can be quite expensive not for who can afford but off-campus accommodation is good around campus most of the homes are filled with students and is easily available. Campus meal is available in the canteen but you have to buy stuff.
Companies are international which visit the campus many students get selected in their desired companies and many get chance to live their dream. Average pay is around 150000 Indian rupees. 90 % of placements each year. Well, many animator's have also won Oscar for their work.
Yes, you can officially work on-campus part-time and internship in certain courses, unfortunately, I don't have any experience in this department but many of my friends have and they are loving it. Also earning a little bit.
There is orientation which is quite fun including food dance and fun activities. And gems like baseball basketball and more.
Monthly Expense : $500 - $1500
