In high school, my friends talked about the Sheridan work program. And many people at work also did the Sheridan program. The process was quite simple consisting of only a written survey. I applied to Seneca as well, but know I wanted to join Sheridan as it is in the heart of the city and it's easy to get around.
I enjoy it as they have real-world applications and teachers really like to help students succeed.
I opted for this because my grades (85%) was enough to let me into this program. I haven't done exams yet as I have only started the program. But the minimum to get into the program is around 70% and very good English score. The class size is just as much as my highschool class size, which makes it easy to communicate with teachers.
Haven't done yet. But usually MCQ.
I like the business faculty we have lots of excursions and a lot of funding allowing us to gain real-world knowledge. The teachers assistant are great for asking questions and reviewing class notes.
The fees are paid before each semester. The tuition fee is around $18,000 for international students. Super expensive, but the bank loans are good. And we take loans from RBC the international scholarships are for those extremely academically advanced. I did not get any scholarships as my grades were average.
I live in an apartment nearby. I share with 2 other people to manage fees. We choose to live of campus as there is no campus residency. Meals we cook at home to save money. And most of us work and get food from work.
Very good, because a mall is very close it is good for us students to get a job quote easily. The roles are mostly customer services but it helps in the application of business knowledge. Our school also hosts a job fair so students can branch out.
Yes, they Do. They are usually full time in the summer months and they provide good pay and learning experience. I would love to try an internship this summer. Campus jobs aren't really feasible as the college doesn't really have a campus. But across the street is a very good mall with lots of job opportunity.
We have many cultural events such as New year's festivals, we also have fairs and expos so students can learn more as our college is small, we don't have many events.
Monthly Expense : $200 - $500
