I've always wanted to stand apart from the crowd and serve the needy along with having a secure future and nursing was the first option to my mind. While searching for the best colleges out there, Cejep de Jonquiere is one fine choice. I got to know about the college from my friends already in the city. I applied by filling up the Online Application and by paying an application of $85.
My curriculum is divided into 6 sessions described over a 2-year span. It included all sociology, behavioral study, pediatrics, geriatrics, biology, surgery, and mental health, etc. I was also provided a chance to study healthy maths, chemistry and literature, and fantasy. Overall the whole curriculum doesn't exhaust me out.
I took the IELTS exam and scored an overall 8 bands. Then I submitted the application with my high school marks and I was selected in the program. The admission process was very smooth and I did not face any sort of difficulties.
I was exposed to a committee that solely focuses on placements and job opportunities. The committee helps us send out resumes and also prepare us for interviews. They cover both part-time and full-time jobs according to our needs. My resume was sent out to many hospitals and public services but I wanted to continue with my further studies.
Being a very big University with a vast range of courses offered, there are people from every nook and corner of the world. The college not only excels academically but also excels in sports and cultural activities. To this day I remember how we covered everything in college ranging from Christmas, Halloweens, Hanukkah, Thanksgivings, Holi, or Diwali.
As an Indian student, my tuition fee was around $6100 per session and around $400 per year for other expenses. The living expense was around $1200-$1400. I did not apply for any scholarship as they were on a merit basis.
The faculty is great. They are all well educated and respectful people in their field. Apart from intellectually exceptional they are also very friendly and help us in any kind of problem, whether personal or professional. Their teaching methodology is great and they focus on every child individually taking care of one's strengths and weaknesses.
I used to live with my friends in an apartment just near the campus and pay around $300 as rent. Some of my friends living on campus got the accomodation through the $500 scholarship as they filled the application very early for the same.
