School of Business, Athabasca University
Best university for the international student
I researched well about this university at the time of admission and was impressed by the wide range of courses offered by it. I applied to the course with the help of a common application form that was available on the university's website. It cost me around $120.
My course provides me a thorough grounding in all core areas of business, from accounting to strategic management, and everything in between. It is a rigorous, technique based business degree. I am learning the theory, technical skills and ethical perspectives in the core business areas of marketing, statistics, financial management, etc.
Commerce was the only field that I wanted to pursue once my schooling was over. In order to attain a wide knowledge of the business, I opted for this course. I appeared for the IELTS exam and scored 7 bands. Official transcripts and letters of recommendation were also submitted by me.
We are assigned the Projects and are marked on the basis of it. I also have to go through the midterms and the final term in order to complete the course successfully.
With the help of years of experience of the instructors, I am able to learn the subjects better. They are always there to help me. Each and every question is taken up in the class. The professors are even available at odd hours.
My course is based on 3 credit scores. For it, I have to pay around $18000 as the tuition fee. Some other expenses like Learning Resource Fee and Students Union and Alumni Relations Fees were also submitted by me. And it cost me around $80. Some of the scholarships are also provided by the university. But unfortunately, I was late in applying to it so I went for the private scholarships.
Monthly Expense : $200 - $500
