My Experience at University at Winnipeg

    9.0 /10

I heard from my mother's colleague how The University of Winnipeg is a dynamic campus and its offering of a number of opportunities made me research for it. After a lot of research work and following reading some of the reviews of the students I decided to apply for it. With the help of an online common application form, I applied for the university.

    Course Curriculum :

This program will provide me with the conceptual tools to understand a number of issues from modern finance theory and applications. I will also be having a solid understanding of the operation of capital markets and capital market instruments, including equities, fixed income securities, as well as futures markets, options, and other derivatives. An in-depth understanding of topics in modern finance and financial economics is also provided to me.

    Exams :

Since the very beginning of the 11th standard, I was very keen on going to a foreign university to pursue my passion for Finance and Economics. That is how I started with the coaching for the SAT and for the IELTS exam in the same year. I scored 1170 and 7.5 bands respectively. Unofficial transcripts and letters of recommendation were submitted by me.

    Fees :

My tuition fee for the 30 credits was $18000. In addition to this, I was charged for a Health Plan and for the U-Pass. President's Scholarship and Entrance based exam are some of the scholarships provided by the university.

    Examination Structure :

Midterms and finals are conducted to mark each of us. Along with the exams, regular class tests are also conducted.

    Faculty :

The faculty at the University of Winnipeg very well provides me an in-depth understanding of topics of my course. Their years of experience in the field of teaching has made them the best of their versions. Also, all our queries are cleared in the classrooms by them.
