Fairleigh Dickinson University
Learn and Enjoy at Fairleigh Dickinson University!
While I was on a conquest to study abroad there were a few factors to consider before closing on a university, I wanted to opt for a college that offered not just a great curriculum but also had better financial aids for international applicants. The availability of multiple scholarship grants to choose from helped me get clarity on my decision. I applied online at the official website, the application cost was $100.
The interdisciplinary University Course Curriculum at Fairleigh Dickinson University is the cornerstone of a thoughtful and reflective education. Although I have been here only for 2 years, I firmly believe so too. That is the reason why it received national recognition for its innovative approach for teaching the general stuff. The curriculum emphasizes global learning and personal/professional development. Like other universities, even here the first and second years of classes provide a foundation for more advanced studies.
Once it was finalized what I wanted to do, the next step was to gear up and study hard throughout my board exams and also crack the competitive exams for getting admitted into foreign universities. For getting into this university in Canada I took the ACT exam and scored 27. Also, I took the internet-based TOEFL and scored 110.
Just like any university, even in mine, a timetable is provided before the beginning of each semester so that students keep preparing simultaneously for the exams. Even the faculty is very supportive and reminds us if the same and is always available for any kind of assistance for the exams. Students are asked to review the schedule and immediately report any conflicts.
Unlike any university Fairleigh Dickinson was one that was committed to preparing us for the challenges of a changing world. They did this through a faculty whose members bring rich insights as scholars and as professionals. They were driven by the desire and ambition of the students and never failed them.
For a year's fee, I paid around 43,000 as the tuition fee and $5,000 as the housing fee. This was for my undergraduate course. My sister who is doing a graduate course in the same university had paid $25,593 for the tier 1 graduate program. FDU offers a variety of scholarships to international students. Students have to submit a separate application for it.
Monthly Expense : $1500 - $2500
