Telfer School of Management
Learning is real Earning!!
I came to know about this college a year ago when I met an educational consultant regarding study abroad options. After evaluating my profile he told me that Canada would be the best option for me. Then he suggested to me this college because he found the course of my interest. And after paying my application fee of $110, I got an offer letter within a week. I did my registration online.
I am completely amazed by the MBA course curriculum. Various course-related activities are commenced on weekends which helped me to learn how to work in an industrial environment. Guest lectures are also scheduled. Not only theoretical but I am also gaining practical experience with practitioner-oriented teaching methods.
After selecting the college, my foremost target was to clear the English language proficiency test. I appeared in an IELTS exam and cleared it with an overall 7.5 band score to get admission in the MBA program. I also appeared in GRE and scored 400 marks. Although appearing in GRE and GMAT exams are not mandatory.
Doing MBA from abroad is quite expensive. Being an international student my total cost of this program is roughly around $64,000. Moreover, there are many scholarship options are available for me, but the availability of scholarship is completely based on my performance in the first academic year of MBA.
I don't know much about the placements, but my seniors have told me that due to the high demand of MBA professionals I will get a job easily within the six months after graduation. The job roles I can opt after MBA are accounting manager, cash managers, financial analyst, investment bankers, chief financial officer-s, insurance, and risk managers, etc.
Monthly Expense : $1500 - $2500
